Face in The Sky

While enduring the pain that he still felt all over his body. Aji kept running regardless of how far he had run. 

"Damn.... the fat man is still chasing!" muttered Aji. 

A few meters away Aji was still trying to run, suddenly his ears heard a sound like a flour sack falling, Aji looked back slightly while still running. And when he managed to turn his head, he saw the bakery owner lying while squirming with one hand squeezing his chest. 

"Please...." The bakery owner moaned. 

Aji paused for a while. From 20 meters away, he watched the bakery owner in pain. 

"Please...." 

Aji was still silent in place. In his heart he wanted to help the owner of the bakery. However, seeing the gun that was still held tightly by the bakery owner made Aji discourage his intention and ran again. Now he doesn't want to care if the bakery owner dies. All he thought about for now was that he wanted to enjoy this brown bread before the hooligans managed to chase him and kill him. 

A few minutes of running, Aji came to a dead end alley. There he hid among a mountain of garbage. Among the pile of garbage, Aji adjusted his shortness of breath. After his breathing stabilized enough, Aji looked at the bread he was holding tightly in his arms. The shape of the bread is no longer good. But the aroma is still the same.

"I'll eat you, after that, I don't care if I have to die after this!" said Aji softly.

With trembling hands, Aji then took out the bread. Aji's smile was etched happily when he saw the bread torn by his hand. He who used to take food from the trash can, felt an extraordinary sensation when holding a piece of bread. 

He put a piece of bread in his foul-smelling mouth. And when his tongue touched the brown bread, Aji immediately felt a great delicious sensation. Such a luxurious wheat taste on his tongue. Followed by the taste of milk and the taste of chocolate that he had never known what it tasted like. But when the two tastes touched his tongue, he knew what taste was on his tongue. 

Aji couldn't say anything. All the amazing sensations he felt for the first time made him mute. Until the last mouthful that was so special, he heard that the gang of hooligans who chased him had reached the alley. But Aji didn't care anymore. Even if he was caught and beaten to death, he didn't care. What he cares about for now is to enjoy the last bite of brown bread that feels even more delicious.

"Hey, damn it!" 

A beam directly floated towards Aji's head with a bang. Made blood flow directly from Aji's head. Aji didn't scream or complain. He was still chewing his last bread. Even when his body began to be brutally beaten, he didn't care either. The last taste of chocolate on his tongue seemed to make him unable to taste anything else. 

"You should just die!" 

One of the delinquents carrying a knife was about to stab Aji. But before the knife pierced Aji's stomach, a strange voice suddenly sounded from the direction of the sky. His voice was quite loud and echoed. Like the sound of a cruise ship horn. But his voice sounded more sinister and very loud.

Suddenly everyone who heard the sound instantly became quiet. The thugs who beat Aji to death were no exception. 

"What's that sound?" 

"I don't know, the voice comes from the sky."

"Is there a spaceship coming to attack the earth?!"

"You're crazy! Where is there such a thing!"

The terrible voice reappeared. Now almost everyone fills the street to look towards the sky. They were curious about the deafening sound. But even though they had already set their eyes on the sky, there was nothing strange in the sky. The sky is still the same as usual. It is bright blue with floating clouds. 

One by one people began to speculate on their own. Some think that it is just a natural phenomenon. Some suspect that it is the sound of the mountain. And there are also those who think that there is a plane that has an accident and explodes in the sky.

The color of the sky suddenly changed, from bright blue to dark gray. And shortly after the color of the sky changed. Hexagon pieces appeared that filled the sky like a puzzel.

No one knows for sure what objects are in the sky with the shape of the hexagon. Until finally, a few seconds after the pieces of the hexagon appeared and docked with each other. A face appeared that looked like a monster face. Everyone was shocked to see the appearance of that creepy face.

"W-what is that?!"

Everyone became excited. Aji, who looked at the sky with his eyes only a few millimeters open, was equally surprised.

"Good news for all planets orbiting the third star. Ragnarok is back on the start. After centuries this great event was stopped. We, the leaders of the Milky Way galaxy, decided to re-hold it. To determine which planets deserve to stay in this galaxy. And a planet that deserves to be destroyed."

The murmuring voices of the people watching the monster speak made the atmosphere noisy. Various speculations they reveal.

"Just like the old rules, each planet can send at least 3 fighters and a maximum of 10 fighters. But we recommend sending 10 fighters so that your victory can be more guaranteed."

"In the first round of Ragnarok for the third star region. The three planets that have the lowest winning value. It will be destroyed after the first round of Ragnarok ends."

"We will send an implementation team to help you prepare 10 fighters. And explain in detail the rules. Planets that get this message are required to participate in battle. Do not send 3 fighters or less than the specified number of fighters. It will be considered defeated and will be destroyed after the first round of Ragnarok is over." 

"The time we give you to prepare fighters, is 60 days. Make sure you work well together for your own safety. Because we will not hesitate to eliminate the renegade planet."

After talking at length and explaining everything. The monster's face was lost from the sky. And along with the disappearance of the monster's face. The sky returned to normal.

The atmosphere in every corner of the city that had been quiet as long as the monster spoke. Now it's noisy again. Many of them are asking the meaning of the appearance of monster faces in the sky. Some of them, think that this is just a show from the government with the latest technology. They thought, there could be no extraterrestrials there. Even if there were, there would be no way they could speak human language.
