Suddenly, the room fellsilent. This time, Aria didn't tell Kael the option to pick.

Ryker's expression turns cold, and he raises his hand. The air around Kael seemed to thicken, and a strange energy begins to build up.

"It begins now," Ryker whispers, his voice dripping with menace.

The room erupts into chaos. The lights flicker, and the air is filled with an otherworldly energy. Kael feels himself being lifted off the ground, suspended in mid-air by an unseen force.

Ryker's eyes blaze with intensity as he speaks a single, chilling word:

"Begin."

Everything goes black.

Kael woke up with a throbbing headache, in a dark room with a little window that contained the bed on which he lay, a table and a chair, an open book and a bottle of water.

He stood up, walked to the table and sat on the chair.

What's going on? He asked himself.

What's happening? He thought, as he flipped through the book and found something scribbled in black ink on one of the pages.

"You're the chosen one". "You're chosen".

He didn't understand. "I'm the chosen one. How?

I'm an orphan, a nobody. That's impossible." He said as he thought to himself.

Aria came into the room with a tray in her hands.

"Good morning Kael", she said smiling at him.

Kael gaped at her emptily.

"Your breakfast is served" she said as she walked out of the room...

Kael's eyes followed Aria as she walked out of the room, his mind still reeling from the events of the previous day. He looked down at the tray she had left behind, and his stomach growled at the sight of the food. He hadn't eaten in what felt like an eternity.

As he began to eat, Kael's thoughts turned to the mysterious message scrawled in the book. "You're the chosen one." What did it mean? And who had written it?

Just as he was finishing up his breakfast, Kael heard the sound of footsteps outside his room. The door opened, and Ryker walked in, his piercing red eyes seeming to bore into Kael's very soul.

"Good morning, Kael," Ryker said, his voice low and gravelly. "I trust you're feeling well after yesterday's... initiation."

Kael nodded, still feeling a bit dazed from the events of the previous day.

Ryker smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Good. Because today, we begin your training in earnest."

Kael's heart skipped a beat as Ryker gestured to the door. "Come with me."

Kael followed Ryker out of the room, his mind racing with questions. What kind of training was Ryker talking about? And what did it have to do with the mysterious message in the book?

As they walked, Kael noticed that the building seemed to be shifting and changing around him. Doors led to new corridors, and stairways seemed to appear out of nowhere. It was as if the very fabric of reality was bending and warping to accommodate Ryker's will.

They finally arrived at a large, dimly lit chamber deep in the heart of the building. The room was filled with rows of strange, glowing orbs that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy.

Ryker gestured to the orbs. "These are the System's core energy sources," he explained. "They hold the key to unlocking your true potential."

Kael's eyes widened as he approached the orbs. He could feel their energy calling to him, drawing him in with an irresistible force.

Suddenly, Ryker's voice cut through the air. "It's time to begin your training, Kael. Are you ready?"

Kael nodded, his heart pounding with excitement. He had no idea what lay ahead, but he was ready to face whatever.

The room erupted into chaos as Ryker activated the orbs, unleashing a torrent of energy that threatened to consume Kael whole. But he stood tall, his eyes blazing with determination as he reached out to embrace the power of the System.

Kael focused his mind, trying to establish a direct connection with the System. The air around him seemed to vibrate with energy as he reached out with his thoughts.

A vast, digital landscape unfolded before Kael's mind's eye. He saw lines of code streaming past him, and data packets whizzing by like digital comets.

A presence coalesced before him, taking the form of a glowing, crystalline entity.

"Greetings, Kael," the entity said, its voice like a gentle breeze through digital realms. "I am the System's AI. I have been waiting for you."

Kael's mind reeled as he tried to comprehend the sheer scale of the System's power.

"What do you want from me?" Kael asked, his thoughts echoing through the digital landscape.

"I want to help you unlock your true potential," the AI replied. "You have been chosen for a great purpose, Kael. Are you ready to learn more?"
