"Who would think she would look like our daughter?"

The little watch in confusion as to what the couple were talking about. She said not a word nor asked any questions as to what would happen to her.

"From now on, you will be our daughter." Said the woman with a smile on her face.

"Daughter?" The little girl finally opened her mouth for the first time since she arrived. The word daughter confused her as to how she was related to them. She knew her parents had passed away, as that is what the old lady had told her.

"Once you're old enough, you'll understand." The man explained as he then looked at the servants and instructed them to take the child away to wash her up.

The little girl obediently followed without any questions. When she arrived at the room she would be staying in, she was in shock, as it was as big as her previous home. Even the bathroom was huge.
