CHAPTER 74: WHISPERS OF THE MORNING

Marvin and I delved into the possibilities. The conversation took an unexpected turn. We contemplated each Simpson's motive and means to carry out the attack.

"Lucas," Marvin mused, his eyes narrowing in thought. "He's always resented being in the shadow of Uncle Jonah. Maybe he thinks eliminating us would secure his position," Marvin said.

I shook my head, my perspective diverging from Marvin's. "Lucas may harbor resentment, but I don't see him as the mastermind. There's something more sinister at play. Though, like I said earlier, I do not know him and I do not trust him", I said.

But I knew that no one had kept an eye on Lucas all this while. No Simpson can be trusted!

The revelation dawned upon me as I considered the intricacies of the Simpson family dynamics.

"No one considers Lucas, the son of Uncle Jonah Simpson, as someone who could do such things. He's always been an outsider, and his aspirations might be focused on creating a legacy independent of the Simpson name." I said.
