Third POV

In the beginning, the Father of Creation created a world named Orion.

The Orion was divided into seven continents. Each continent has its own beauty, terrains, and nature.

Then, the Father of Creation created the five Celestial Beasts and became the pillar of Orion the following day after Orion was created.

On the third day, Elemental Archons were assigned to govern the planet's elemental energies and maintain the balance of Orion.

On the fourth day, the Father of Creation breathed life into Orion, so races of living were born: human, beast folks, water people, demons, elven folks, dwarves, halflings, humanoid, and every other race.

On the fifth day, the Father of Creation bestowed magic to every race he created, even assigned the Leader of each of them to govern each country they lived in, and gifted them magic.

On the sixth day, the Father of Creation decided to move on and create another planet, leaving the authority to the Archons and Celestial Beasts.

Like any other villain in any other story, the Ancient Serpent, the dweller of Black Void, corrupted the minds of the most accessible creatures it could find, the humans. It bestowed the forbidden magic to the Leader of the humans, the Great Sage, and used him as a tool to spread the serpents' evilness, summoning its minions and destroying the beauty of the world of harmony.

The once peaceful Orion was tainted by the blood of those who fought hard to protect their beloved planet. Celestial Beasts were hunted down, and the Elemental Archons were executed in public.

Leaders of the other races formed an alliance to stop the humans, but the Sage's power was too much for them, and with just one click of the Sage's finger, they disappeared.

The occupant of Orion suffered under the tyranny of humans and the Great Sage, who became the king of the world.

At last, with a thread of luck, the prayers that had been blocked for centuries went through to the Father of Creations.

The Father of Creation finally heard the cries of his children and was devastated seeing his beloved planet was completely surrounded by the corruption of His infinite enemy. With his last surviving card, the Leader of demons who miraculously survived, he bestowed an incredible power on him to defeat the raging Ancient Serpent puppets.

Azrael, the son of the former Demon Leader Azazel, led all the races against the Great Sage and declared war.

Magic collided, strength was tested, the sounds of metals hitting each other, and the roar of beasts were heard all around Orion.

The war lasted for years, and Azrael, the demon leader, finally killed the Sage. But Azrael was heavily wounded, poisoned by dark magic. He freed everyone from tyranny's grasp, thus earning the title of king.

But Azrael didn't want fame or the title. He wanted freedom not only for his kind but for everyone.

When everyone thought they were finally free, the Ancient Serpent was not done yet with Orion. As its venom, the dark magic secretly spreading Azrael's body, the pending doom was yet to begin again. The curse of the Ancient Serpent spread against Azrael's kin. It's just a matter of time before the Ancient Serpent will gain a new follower to do his bidding.

Knowing about the impending doom, Azrael met up with Hilrey Komoguth, an ancient dark elf knowledgeable of forbidden ancient magic, to ask to seal him and his kin.

"Are you certain about your decision, Azrael? What has been done will never be undone."

"Please do it. Do it while I still have control of my body," Azrael begged.

They wrapped the holy chain around Azrael's body along with his trusted elven. As Hilrey and his people secured each end of the holy chain, Azrael's body started to emit black smoke as he started to scream.

Hilrey ordered his people to stay awayfrom Azrael as he saw a black snake coiled around Azrael. Its red eyes were staring at Hilrey, trying to hypnotize him.

"Sneaky Warden." The snake said, seeing it couldn't hypnotize Hilrey.

"I figured out you would appear here. Just like your term, I appeared here only for you. Ancient Serpent, the enemy of Orion! Your evilness will end today with me!"

Hilrey immediately performed the ritual to activate one of the strongest magic that ever existed in Orion. As he channeled his mana around the holy chain, the ancient snake tried to use its remaining power against the old dark Elf, but it was futile as a glowing circle appeared where Azrael was sitting and chained.

"Divine Prison!" the snake screamed as Azrael's body slowly pulled by, becoming a golden and alive chain in the glowing circle. "You'll spend all your mana, Elf, and you will die, too. Stop it while you still can!"

"I have been waiting for you to step on my grasp, Serpent. What you did to Orion, corrupting humans and creating havoc, your sins had piled up. As Azrael volunteered to be imprisoned in Divine Prison, your gateway in Orion will be closed starting today," Hilrey said, his body slowly vanishing.

"Evil will prevail, Elf. I will make sure of that!" The ancient Serpent vanished away, not wanting to be imprisoned in the Devin Prison, where most of its allies were being tortured.

The Ancient Serpent would rather stay in his black void than stay in that prison.

"But my curse has already flowed to this wrecked bloodline-"

"I already arranged something about that matter. Your evilness will end now."

The snake smirked.

"We'll see, Warden of Prisons. We will see."

Eons has past, and Orion's occupants had already forgotten about Orion's Great battle and how Azrael sacrificed and the sins of the human Great Sage.

Kings of every kingdom started hunting demons for unknown reasons, destroying their homes. Demons were forced to flee their land in fear of the knights and shadow dwellers hunting for them.

"Are you sure this is the demon child with vision, Keiran?" A hooded person appeared in front of Keiran's house.

"Yes, grandma. She told me about a hero who will appear here soon," Keiran told her.

"Good. You need to protect her and make sure someone will save the hero. I heard Cain's group will summon otherworlder tonight. If we're lucky, one of them might be the hero."

"Understood, Grandma."

"I sense the presence of that evil Sage, Keiran, and we need to act before his evil power will be restored. Hilrey-sama didn't sacrifice himself for nothing."

Meanwhile,

As the night arrived, at the capital of the kingdom of Korra. Inside the castle at the office of the king's adviser, Alexander Coroy.

He massaged his forehead and turned his gaze towards the man wearing full body armor in front of his desk. "How's the mission, Captain Callan?"

Callan removed his helmet, revealing his jet-black hair and a pair of sharp gazing black eyes.

"All the members of the new magus federation were eliminated. However, Based on the situation in the summoning room, someone made it their first, slain them, and killed our ambushers inside the forest next to the base."

"Did they manage to summon one?"

Callan chuckled at the question and instantly covered his mouth as if Alexander let out a humorous joke. "Forgive me, sir. I don't think they did. Even the best mages in the kingdom can't. How come low-tier mages like them could?"

Herbert paused for a second and nodded. "You have a point. Now, I'm giving you the responsibility to locate the Sage's grimoire. We can't afford to let anybody else get their hands on that dangerous demonic book. That book is the embodiment of catastrophe itself."

Callan bowed. "Consider it done, Sir."

Somehow, someone behind the Ancient Serpent was smirking...

It's been five days since we started our journey towards the lawless town of Levearûn and the incident with the knights. To reach the town, we must pass through a massive forest and several small mountains.By hunting our food and drinking from the rivers we passed by, we easily got the things we needed to survive throughout the journey. And yep, as much as possible, I don't want her to drink my Water magic because I can't explain why it felt so wrong.According to Cherubim, for every new evolved skill I acquire, a large amount of mana will be used. When I asked him how to maximize my mana to avoid further side-effects when using a newly evolved skill, Cherubim suggested training myself and making my body used to skills like Hesphateus. The more one pushes their body to the limit, the more mana will increase. I have been training myself using Caspian's sword every day. On the first and second day, all my mana was drained, and I slept the whole day. The next two days, I improved a bit

After a total of almost a month of our long journey, we've finally reached our destination.Unfortunately, Rafaela and I don't have any information about this lawless town. I hope we're not going to have any trouble here. I gazed upon the massive settlement in front of us. We're still a few kilometers away, but I can already see the life inside the town."At last, we're finally here, Rafaela." I looked at Misha and found her smiling at me. "It's already nighttime, so we must find a place to spend the night. I'm excited to see what awaits us inside that town."Upon entering the town, what welcomed us was a shady place full of eyes looking at us with suspicions. They're not humans; some of them have animal ears and tails, and for some, their bodies are completely animal-like, but they're walking using their two feet, which I guess was what we called back home as beastkins or beastfolks. There were also some who, just like Rafaela who, had horns on their heads, which I believe were demo

Morning shone at the lawless town of Levaerûn. I stretched my arms as I gazed upon the view before me while sitting on the inn rooftop. I could see the wide green land surrounding the entire settlement from afar and the massive forest next to it where we came from.As I looked down, I could clearly see the marketplace beneath. The marketplace was completely different from what it looked like at night; at day, it seemed like a normal marketplace. The slave shops were still open, but no slave was being displayed outside, the same with the prostitute dealers who used to be scattered around the place last night.People were gathering to buy necessities from the shops that were not there when we arrived last night.Even with shady businesses at night, I can say that this place still functions as a normal community. As I watched them, I finally saw some humans joining the crowd, casually interacting with the demi-humans buying in the stalls. There really are humans peacefully living in thi

I rubbed my belly as I finished eating my food."Do you like the food, Raf?"She stared at me and nodded. "It's delicious."Some was left on her cheek, so I picked it up using my index finger."I'm so full. Isn't the food here the best?" Xin said as he leaned on his chair and gazed at both of us."Yeah, it is," I replied."Are you two planning to stay here for good?""That's my initial plan, but it still depends. If I want to stay here, I must find a sustainable job first.""There are very few jobs available in this place. To strive here, you need to be at least tough enough to survive, especially since business owners are wary of newcomers, which is understandable. If you want a proper job and think you are strong enough to fight, there are some that I can recommend; being a faction leader's security personnel is one of the profitable jobs here, or you can go to the second faction and apply as a mercenary. That's a decent job as well, if I must say." He covered his mouth as he used a

After the commotion inside the restaurant, I decided to leave the place and return to the inn. After observing the place and the people living here, I realized that this place is not as chaotic as it sounds, but it's not that safe either. Dubious people are lurking everywhere due to the lack of proper supervision throughout the place, especially since this place is being ruled by people called faction leaders. Abundances of conflicts can be expected to happen from time to time due to the problematic visitors coming here to cause problems. Some people like Xin are willing to help in case the situation gets out of hand, but we can't expect them to always be there when trouble arises. In conclusion, this place is not actually lawless; it has rules, but it is not official enough to make the violent-seeking visitors willingly follow them. That's what you expect from an anarchy-governed town. At least, that's my understanding as of now. There's still a lot of things I can't understand, b

Nighttime arrived at the town of Levaerûn. Just like last night, the dark side of the town once more emerged again from the surface of the marketplace. The human slaves were being displayed in front of the shop for the crowds gathering around to see, along with the dealers blocking and discussing with any potential customers.I closed my eyes as I felt the gentle wind touching my face and looked up to the starry sky where the full moon was currently present. The moon showed up again, which means It's already been some months since I was summoned here. It's hard to adjust at first, but life here has slowly become a part of me now.Besides, I'm actually an otherworlder, and nobody had noticed it aside from Rudolf. The morning finally arrived at the lawless town of Levaerûn. I was conversing with Cherubim to discuss our tactics in case we faced one of the leaders of a faction. I can use some common elemental magic, but Hesphaetus is out of choice. It will drain my mana. During my self-training, I somehow managed not to collapse upon using all my mana. Maybe common magic will do because I don't trust my ability. I turned my head down while walking through the huge crowd gathering at the side of the street, gazing at me."Tsch, another one? They will never learn, will they?"I heard the voice of one of them, but I didn't even try to look at him and just continued towards the location of the faction's main base.I just decided to challenge the faction leader because I thought it would be cool.Good luck to me, I guess?I felt the grip of Rafaela's hand on my hand. Of all the three faction leaders, he's the only one whose Skill I have no information about. The only thing I know is he has terrifying physical capabilities. It means there are other options here than holding back.Upon dodging, I immediately aimed my hand in his direction, released a common fire blast attack, and blasted it toward him. The fire exploded on him, and I watched him burn, but I received no reaction coming from him. He just stood there and did not do anything. I knew Cherubim was still assessing. I'm buying him time. "I hate to break it to you, but I'm not a big fan of Fire magic," he said as his silhouette emerged from the direction of my attack, with a menacing grin forming on his lips as the fire died out.[Confirmed: Fire Resistance imitated skill acquired!]Damn it!He jumped towards me much faster than before

The following day, Xin, Leo, and even Leal picked Rafaela and me up and accompanied us to the territory of the Spriggan faction, where I could find Raiden. I wandered my eyes around the place as we walked toward the headquarters of the Spriggan faction. "How's your head, Leal?" Leo asked. "It feels like it's breaking apart; it's all thanks to you, you big imbecile." What caught my attention were the houses and buildings. All of them were built correctly and in good condition; some buildings were made of chiseled stones, and the people walking with us wore tunics and kirtles made of wool. However, it's quite apparent that there's only a handful of them compared to the other citizens of the other factions, where I could see people in every corner. Occasionally, there were some merchant's carriages passing down the brick road. This is the first time I've seen some since I arrived in this town! "Summons were the hybrid of Demons and otherworlders' offspring, if not probably one of the strongest. The common Summons were the horn-types, and the rare were the opaque-eyed Summons. They were the race that the Witch Sora Magestus led during the rebellion," Leal replied."Rebellion?" "Yes. Sora was a brave witch who opposed the Grandmaster's order, leading to a conflict between the royals and citizens. With the help of Summons," Leal made another sip in his teacup. "According to the book I read, Summons was Azrael's bloodline. There was a myth about him leading all the races against the Ancient Serpent puppet, the Great Sage.
