"Well? Tell us." the policeman said to Clarissa.

Clarissa faced Zane and gave her answer to the policeman's question.

"No. He did not kidnap me. What Mr Walker said was the truth. We only got lost." Clarissa explained.

Zane looked as if he was just spat on. "How dare she go against me like that? Just wait and watch what I will do to you once we get back home." Zane thought to himself.

They began to leave without even rendering an apology and Blake called them back with just a few words.

"Not just your job here is done but your job as a policeman is finished," Blake said.

The policeman he was referring to turned around with a nasty smirk on his face, "was that supposed to be a threat?" the policeman asked Blake.
