Kristen paced the room uneasily, like an adult would do. She continued scrolling her iPad, a hint of worry working her facial features up.

'It's okay, Kristen. You need not do this'

'Quiet. This is happening because you stayed under the rain for too long. Why didn't you go in through the back door? Why didn't you knock the door and call for help when they locked you outside. I realized only later because they mention it during tea time, I would have opened the door way earlier.'.

'I don't have a key to the back door. I promise, it's okay. I appreciate your effort on that day'

She closed her iPad with so much force. 'We need to get you to the hospital, Luka. It's hypothermia.'

Luka tried to laugh. It came as a wince. Every part of his body aches real bad. 'It's not that bad'.

'Hypothermia is really really baddd, Luka. It's life threatening!' she exclaimed, hissing.

Luka was used to seeing her act older than her age so this display didn't really faze him.
