The childlike giggle high-pitched by excitement travelled far thanks to the wind that came with the push and pull of the seawater against the sand, creamy white foam lining the tip. They all had light blonde hair. “I'm counting now!” The third one yelled, sounding feminine. “One! Two! Three! Stop!” The boys froze. Her slow descent finally came to an end and she had eventually reached the end of the stairs. Her eyes roamed the house at an unrushed pace, slowly taking everything in and noting how empty—super empty the house seemed to have become. Could one person really make such an impact? She asked herself, huggin
