A new day dawned upon Hidden Valley City, bringing with it a radiant burst of morning sunlight. Its warm and golden rays gently streamed through the room’s window, casting dancing patterns on the wall.

Slowly, it found its way to Alex, nudging him awake from his peaceful sleep. His eyelids fluttered open, blinded by the golden rays.

He recalled that he told Theo to bring a motorbike. Hurriedly, he got out of the room. The villa was silent, and he assumed that everyone was either sleeping or they had gone to work.

Immediately he reached the staircase that led to the large living room, Evelyn spotted him and exclaimed. “You foolish imposter! Get your butt into the kitchen and get me a cup of tea!”

Evelyn, who was in a bathing robe, wrapped a towel around her hair. She wore a flip-flop and looked exactly like those models who advertised soap on television, though no outsider would believe that she was very old, since she painted her grey hair black.
