Zara groans into her pillow, an involuntary wince escaping her lips as pain shot through her stomach.

The ray of sunlight that escaped the windows disturbed her sleep, she sat up groggily, rubbing her eyes with the back of her palm.

Feeling much better and looking past the ache banging in her head, she took a look at her surroundings, panic overwhelming her quickly.

She is in her room but something is amiss. Last she remembered, she had passed out at the bar good miles away from her apartment and yet somehow, she wound up in her apartment with no idea on how she got here.

She stood up gingerly, afraid there might be a stranger in her house and her best option was to not let who ever they are to know that she is awake.

She wobbled on her feet and heads to the bathroom first to get a pepper spray just on case.

A scream escapes her lips and she quickly clamped her hand over her mouth to muffle it, eyes wide with fear as she stared at her bathroom mirror.

The words were dripping
