I raised both hands to him, to show I came in peace..

He eyes me but eased from the defensive mode.

"Can we talk?" I asks casually.

He sits back on the rock, staring at the ocean.

I sat with him, enjoying the sound of the beach and the waves it makes.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He asks.

"Yeah...." I agreed with him.

Both of us went silent again, neither saying anything.

I didn't want to scare him away so I waited for him to initiate the conversation.

"Why are you here?" He asks.

"You should know." I tell him.

"What could your poor self know about me that I don't know?" He asks.

"You took Javier's body, didn't you?"

He chuckled, without missing a beat or showing any form of trepidation, he glances at me, "how did you know about that?"

"You did, didn't you?" I said, it came out more like a concluded statement.

"I always knew there's more to you than meets to the eye. Even Javier wouldn't say anything about you or who you really are?" Gregory muttered.
