"Thomas?" Yumi walked into their living room, where the doctor she just hired for Jonas' sat, arranging his tools into a briefcase, "How is he doing? Any changes? Is he going to get better?"

Thomas sighed and looked up at the worried face of Yumi, he wondered if she didn't hear anything about him and how his license was revoked and he is on probation for the next two years, after which, he'll be tried again. If she knew all that, he's sure she wouldn't ask him to be their doctor but considering the circumstances of how they met, he's not surprised.

He and Yumi had met in a local bar down town, and they both had a lot in common, or well maybe just one thing. They had both been wronged by someone.

"Thomas?" Yumi called again.

He blinked back to reality, "Yes, yes.... He is recovering quite fast and should be awake soon enough."

Yumi nods, sighing in relief.

"What happened to him?"

"He was attacked."

"Hmmm.... And did you catch the person that did this to him?"

"No." Yumi
