"I'm going to do it." Alina said decisively, "It's either that or Ryan dies anyway."

"I told you, I'll find a way around it!" Olivia murmured softly.

"You can't, there's no way to around it. Today is the deadline anyway."

"Why did you require my presence then? I left my grandfather unattended to run here for your supposed emergency." Eleanor asks Olivia, "She already made up her mind, and if I was in the same shoes as her with Asher, I'd just run away with him. I'm rich enough for that but I doubt she is. So this is way better, another option is talking about it with the CEO." She shrugs.

Olivia groans into her palms in frustration, they were gathered in Alina's living room.

Each of them were lost in their thoughts, Eleanor's phone pinged, breaking the thick silence in the room.

Just as Eleanor picked up her phone to check the message, the entrance door opened forcefully, revealing Zara with disheveled hair, puffy and baggy eyes, in every bit of disarray.
