‘’Mr. Newton, sorry, but the withdrawal of the amount has been declined.’’ The bank teller said to the nervous looking man before him.

‘’What? Are you telling me that I can withdraw my own money?’’

‘’No, I’m telling you that you don’t have that amount of money to withdraw it.’’

Mr. Newton frowned.

‘’This must be a joke.’’

Then he thought.

‘’Ok, I would like to withdraw $25,000,000 instead.’’

The teller shook his head.

‘’Sir, you don’t have that much in your account.’’

Mr. Newton seemed perplexed.

‘’$15,000,000 then.’’

The teller, having second-hand embarrassment, turned the monitor for Mr. Newton to see.

‘’What? That’s impossible,’’ Mr. Newton said in disbelief.

He looked at the screen again, not believing his eyes.

He only had a thousand dollars in his bank account.

‘’How?’’

“I don’t know sir,’’ the teller told him.

Just then, Mr. Newton’s phone rang, and it was his wife. She sounded frantic.

‘’Honey, there are people in the house telling me that I need to get out.’’
