On the fifth day of their expedition to hunt contract monsters, the Golden Arrow Academy students departed the Azure Escape ship.

The sun was on the Western horizon, giving the sky a yellow appearance. It would get dark shortly. A child was spotted strolling over the pink beach, getting closer to the spot where the ghost ship Azure Escape was berthed, as the breeze stirred through the date palms.

As soon as the contract creature hunting mission started, Kiran was the first pupil to arrive.

Glancing up at the spacecraft in the sky, he said, "Professor Richard! Huan Li, Master! Kindly pull down the hemp rope. I mistook it for a Golden Arrow pupil."

Peeping over the railing on the Azure Escape's hull were two human heads. They were Master Huan Li and Professor Richard. They both appeared shocked to find Kiran down below.

"Kiran, is that you?" Master Huan Li enquired.
