CHAPTER SIXTY SEVEN

Leon felt the girl grip onto his shirt tighter, her frame shaking as she tried to move back. The sight of the monstrous man was slightly frightening even for him but he could tell that strength wasn't really by size but by might and endurance.

"Are you ready to run now?" One of the gangsters asked and Leon simply turned to him with a blank stare. They all laughed because they mistook his calmness for cowardice and they thought he was going mute because he was terrified.

The first thing that Leon noted about the large man was that he was so used to being intimidating that he made an entrance boldly, going to elicit the dance effect he'd been eliciting from the very first day.

"Oh my goodness, please don't hurt him, please, I brought him here," the little girl began to plead on his behalf.

One of the gangsters laughed and said that it was too late for her to beg, "No need, the boss is already here and there's no predicting him, you can't tell him what to do," he spat.
