CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

The next day finally came, his first day at work after losing his first job. He could feel the melancholic memories attempt to overwhelm him as he recalled the craziest day of his life. He had lost his job, his wife, and almost his life on the same day.

Pulling on his t-shirt s and a clean pair of denim blue jeans, he got into his Mitsubishi, and in a few minutes he was at work. He noticed that someone was already at the porch of the cafe to receive him. It was the boy he had healed from the other night, he looked better now, his face a lot healthier.

"Welcome, great one, Madam Emelda instructed me to give you this, you will be on manager henceforth," the boy said and handed him a small tag. Leon was surprised, the old lady had told him that he would be the handyman around the cafe just in case they ever needed him around.
