After Leon left the Caden mansion. He realized that it hadn't been a very smart decision. It was almost midnight and again, for yet another day, he had no plans of where to spend the night.

Finally, he arrived at a small park and sat on the bench. He could feel the chill seep into his light shirt, he was equipped to be in the cold, he'd left his suit at the dinner hall and there was no way he was going back for it.

There was nothing in sight but a pair of ducks that flapped about in the small puddle. He looked at the street and it was growing empty too. Leon realized that every day with the deity power left him feeling more alone than he'd ever felt in his life.

He was becoming a loner, he was being seen and respected once he demonstrated his power but no one wanted to be close to him unless he wanted to heal them. It was the dad's reality and he wondered how long he'd have to live like that for.

A neon light shone a good distance from the park, he decided he needed to ha

Leon heard the scream again just as he turned the corner. The scream was a little far off, on the other side of the street and he moved there. Right on the floor was a middle-aged woman who was clutching her bag tightly and crying. "Ma'am, are you okay?" He asked and she shook her head, "No, they took all my money, all took everything!" She cried out. "Who?" He asked and with shaky hands, she pointed at the water tank by the alley. Leon walked out but she yelled after him, "Don't go in there! They will hurt you," she begged but he wasn't afraid of them. Close to the water tank, he could hear muffled voices. He turned to the east of the tank and sure enough, four men were gathered around a small heap. They were too busy rummaging through the stack to notice him. "You shouldn't steal from old ladies," he said softly and the first thief turned to him. He dragged down his mask quickly over his face but Leon was able to see a pair of dark eyes and black hair before the mask went over

In the car, Leon groaned as he could feel his body bruise when he deactivated the iron cast armor. "How did you do that?" Tracy asked and Leon looked at her questioningly. "I saw you fighting with all those men, it's not like last time when they hurt you," she noted and then looked at him quizzically, "I also watched you take out my men, and they are trained," she said. Leon just shrugged, he wasn't feeling so good after the fight. He hadn't healed anyone the entire day and the power of the ring was quickly diminishing. He was beginning to feel weaker, his head throbbed and the fight in the alley didn't help to keep him energized either. He was a healer and suddenly he caught himself fighting a little too much. Causing pain rather than healing. "Well, you won't tell me the secret of your supernatural strength?" She asked and he replied, "I'm a healer, not a fighter," Tracy laughed at this statement, "I've seen you kick a lot more asses than I've seen you save lives." Leon felt t

The next day, Leon strolled out of the penthouse suite that Steve had given him for the night. He awoke to a complimentary breakfast that was the best thing he'd tasted in a long time. The night had been a peaceful one and he was glad to catch up on all the lost sleep from the trashy apartment. Morning came and his first thought was his car and how to get a decent job in the neighborhood, something he could earn a good living from and save up for his clinic. But each time the thought of the clinic crossed his mind, he sighed. It seemed like a far-off dream with his limited resources. "Good morning, handsome," a voice sounded behind him and Leon whipped around, startled. Tracy stood by the doorway, one hand dropped on the frame and another akimbo. "Did I startle you?" She asked with a bright smile. "A little," Leon replied honestly and pulled on a T-shirt. Tracy was blushing and looking everywhere but at his face. "I'm ready to go now, send my regards to your friend, Steve." H

Chief Sylvester Caden, Tracy's father, was seated on a low armchair, his eyes bright with untamed excitement. His wife, Susan was beside him and she smiled warmly at their guest. The man across from them was a middle-aged man, he wore a light brown jacket over a black shirt and a tie. He was one of the most famous bankers in the city with several investments scattered across Europe. Susan and Sylvester were very pleased to have him in their home. "You're sure there is nothing else you want?" Susan asked and the man shook his head, "This wine is excellent," he commented. Sylvester smiled proudly, he did take pride in his wine collection and there was hardly any guest that didn't compliment his lovely bottles, "I had that one from France, it was the last of its bottle, I paid good money for it," he said and then added, "It's twenty years old." The guest nodded and replied, "I always knew you were a man of class and style." Then he dropped his glass and looked at Susan. "Your daughter

Leon spent the rest of the day getting his new apartment ready, right before his eyes his ex-wife, Annabella, and her new lover, Tom had packed out of the house. He badly wanted to turn down Tracy's gift but he knew pride would be a dangerous poison seeing as he did not even have a place to sleep. "Thank you," was all he said, and then he moved into the apartment. It still felt like he could feel some part of Bella and her lover in the house but he ignored it knowing it was his mind messing with him. Later that evening, Leon had cleared out the living room and the bedroom, vacuuming the dust the way and changing the sheets. Tracy was beside him all along, rolling up her sleeves and helping with whatever he asked and even the ones he did not ask. From the looks that she kept giving him when she thought he wasn't looking, Leon realized that Tracy liked him. It was sad that they would never be together, not with her parents' judgemental behavior, there was no way he could deal with tha

Tracy recognized one of the men even before she saw her father. "My parents have found out I'm not home," she whispered in fear as they watched the men walk down to the living room and grab her. Leon didn't know what was going on and he attempted to defend her immediately, he kicked one of the uniformed men away but at once over a dozen circled him, he was outnumbered. Wondering why Tracy was such a trouble magnet, Leon thought of how he was going to take out over two dozen uniformed men or by himself, shortly after consuming a large plate of omelette and barely having any sleep the previous night. "If you want me, then let her go," he said loudly but none of the men responded. "Did my father put you up to this?" Tracy barked at one of the security men she could recognize. The man was a bearded black man, sturdy with the height of a giant. "Are you in danger, mistress?" He asked her. Tracy snorted, "You broke in here and met me having a peaceful breakfast and now you're asking i

A job in a clinic or a hospital was not forthcoming and learned why. With the little medical experience he had working as a part-time nurse for a clinic many years ago while trying to offset his student loan, he needed a little polishing up to do before thinking of being fully employed. But bills were piling up, although Tracy had just bought him a whole house, the tenants living there still had a probationary period of six months to get out of the property when their lease expired, Which meant that Leon would not be making any money off the building for a very long time unless he was considering giving out the house close to the trash can to someone - which he wasn't. Leon promised himself that he would surely pay Tracy back once he could afford to. With Sylvester's words still echoing through his mind, he wondered if there would ever be a time he showed up at the Caden family and was treated with respect. Right there on the porch step of his house that morning, he made hims

Everyone gasped at his strength As he quickly flung off the heavy door they had all been struggling with for minutes. He stepped into the cold refrigerator and pulled out the young boy. He was still wheezing helplessly and the waitress quickly brought him an inhaler. "Let him have this and he will be fine," She said, handing it to him quickly. But learn to the inhaler and place it on the floor, grabbing the boy's hand. "What are you doing?! He is running out of time, he has been in there for a very long time, and he needs to take his inhaler immediately," She cried out but Leon paid her no attention. He held onto Joseph's hands and channeled the power of the ring through him, he could feel his lungs regenerating again and all the fluid dried up. It took a few more minutes before he was able to get him back to normal and that is when he pulled away. "Oh my God, what have you done?" One of the men asked if he was the same cook who threatened to report Emelda to the cops. "He is no

Leon stepped out of the party with Tracy right behind him. He hadn't been in the same place with such elite people in such a long time and he had mixed feelings. Tracy was so proud of what she had done. She wanted to create a new name for herself. No more was she willing to be the daddy's girl that did everything that her parents wanted even when it had nothing to do with her own career goals and aspirations. "Tracy!" A voice called to her from behind and she turned to look at her mother who was really dressed and coming to her with a fierce frown. "How could you do this!" She snapped. Tracy looked at her sternly, she didn't look remorseful at all. "What did you expect mum? If you really think that I would go ahead and marry that man that had nothing to do with my destiny?" She asked with a scowl on her pretty face. "Even if you're disrespecting your father, do you have to do it in such a crass manner? I know that I raised you better than this. I raised you to be more

Leon and Tracy arrived at the party in a short while. They both stepped out of the Maserati and heads turned in their direction. Tracy's dress turned out to be the most lovely and unique in the entire place and this made the ladies stare in envy and the men in lust. "I'm glad that you came with me tonight, I would not have been able to fend off all these men on my own," she said and shook her head. At the door of the party, the bouncer did not even have to ask who Tracy you was because she was the only daughter of Sylvester Caden. But apart from coming as her date, most people in the club already knew Leon and he would not have had a hard time gaining access anyways. "Welcome Miss Tracy. Your mother has been looking for you all evening, kindly take the front seat please," one of the many ushers at the event said and let Tracy to her seat very close to the podium. Settled down and with a table and several bottles of expensive wine before them, Tracy and Leon could not help

Stepping out of the car, Leon came face-to-face with a very nicely dressed Tracy. She looked magnificent in her black dress and curled hair. The bags framed her face beautifully and he had to admit that she was really pretty. "Hello, Leon, it's been forever since I last saw you," she said and walked up to him to give him a hug. Leon bit her and then pulled away just as she looked like she was melting right in his arms. "It's just been a few days, Tracy, I'm sorry I haven't called, I've been busy," he said. Tracy looked at him and chuckled. "I should be the one apologizing for not being able to meet you or even give a call. I apologize but I've been very busy and I have good news," she said all in one breath. Leon was glad to hear that she had good news. So far all he seemed to be hearing in his life was one bleak story or the other. It felt great to await something good for a change. "I'm all ears, what news do you bring?" He asked. Tracy smirked proudly and walked back

Leaving the premises, Leon couldn't help but feel like a huge burden had been lifted off his shoulders. He no longer had to worry about XLT and the mess that Hopkins and his cohort had made of it. "Fucking corrupt bastards!" Leon sneered from the backseat of the car as it rolled down the street. He didn't think it could be so easy to actually steal from the company, but clearly he'd been very wrong. Both the accountant, the clerical officer and Lily, his secretary had a lot to answer to. "Sir, where to?" Hector asked as they moved out of the place. He was glancing at him through the rearview mirror. "I don't know, Hector, just drive away from here," he urged with a glare. The driver nodded and sped off, out of the neighborhood completely. It was going to be a very long and tiring procedure to fish out everyone that was involved in the embezzlement but Leon was ready for it. There was no way he was going to allow them to take what belonged to the company and go scot free.

Walking out of XlT with his head held high, he couldn't help but notice all the stares that different members of staff were giving him. He was done trying to please everyone, he was done trying to make them all agree with him being the boss. Power had to be taken and Leon was damn rich to grab it with both hands. Leon was outside the premises, all the other staff were still lurking in the lobby, trying to get a better view of what was going to happen outside without being outrightly lookers. "Sir, you have to reconsider, we can't let all the members of the board go," Lily said, running after him, her high heels clicking on the tiled floor.Turning to her with a sharp gaze, he asked, "Which would you rather prefer, a team of old men who will revolt at the slightest chance or no one at all on the board?" He asked. Lily knew that was a tricky question to answer. For as long as she had been working for XLT, there was always a board of directors, Leon dissolving it all in one day as well

Hector sat in the car, glancing at Leon through the rearview mirror. He has doubts about his master's readiness to face the big sharks at XLT again - especially so soon after all that he'd faced. But Leon wasn't acting like he wasn't ready for them, he seemed to be ready for anything at all. Right from when he woke up from the hospital bed, he'd gone straight down to help Fiona and it seemed he wasn't getting any good sleep in-between. "Master, are you ready to go in?" Hector asked and he didn't even miss a breath when he added. "I could call the secretary immediately to have the entire meeting rescheduled, if you're not up for it," he said. Leon chuckled at the speed with which he quickly said he wouldn't mind rescheduling. "It seems you're hoping that I'm not ready for the meeting so that you could quickly reschedule," he stated. Hector sighed, "If I may speak freely, sir, this has been one of the hardest weeks for you. I don't know how you've been able to fire through the

Fiona stared in awe as she recalled that Leon had insisted on coming to the party even after turning her down the first time. It was quite unlike him to come to any party, especially one that he was sure would be filled up with ladies and music and as it actually turned out - strippers. She didn't understand why he had suddenly changed his mind. "Leon, it's true that you didn't want to come to the party in the first place, you're right," Fiona said and looked at him worriedly. Elsa was still defensive and tried to convince her friend that the man was lying and she would never want to hurt her for any reason. "Fiona, how could you believe this man over me? You left you at the party and went elsewhere, isn't it clear that he's trying to ruin your good time?" She asked, trying to play the emotional trick on her. "Leon, talk to me, why did you show up at that party? Why did you change your mind?" Fiona asked him, this time her eyes were fiercely on him, she believed that there was
