Everything after Merlin’s last words is a bit hazy. Samira only saw a pitch-black darkness. That’s all that she can remember and, all that she expected to come across. But then, her eyes opened. It felt surreal, almost like it isn’t supposed to happen. It isn’t. She’s supposed to be dead. That is the only outcome that’s acceptable after a duel. One of the two parties need to die. And her, still being alive, is not an option. Is this a dream? She thought to herself as she continued to deny reality. The manticore tried moving her body and this gave her the idea that she’s truly alive. If she isn’t, then she won’t feel the pain that jolted through her entire body. Brought about by her mana veins that are still in the process of recovery.“Not a dream. Definitely not a dream.” Samira said as she slowly got up from bed. Everything after the fight is irrelevant to her. As far as she’s concerned, she’s already dead. There is no point to living now that she’s lost her purpose. Being the stro
While Merlin dealt with Samira, Teach and Sylvie are left in the training grounds. Developing their skills and harnessing their powers so they won’t get in Merlin’s way in the fights to come. The battle against Dirth was a great wakeup call to them. That there are creatures a lot stronger outside the premises of the forest. And these are creatures they will eventually clash against. That is why they can’t afford to waste a second. They need to get stronger like Merlin. Though the demon did tell them not to rush things just like him.Nevertheless, Sylvie still gave her best in that sparring session against Teach. The two of them exchanged blows within the coliseum of the dungeon. Both using their real weapons and both also donning their real armors. The hybrid knight actually didn’t want to go all out in the sparring because, well, it is a sparring session. But because of how Sylvie is pressing him, Teach has no other choice but to go full throttle as well.Every clash of their weapons
Teach told Merlin what happened. How Sylvie is frustrated with the decision that the demon made and how she fought the hybrid knight with every intent to take his life. That is how serious Sylvie was during that sparring session. But instead of getting stressed over it, Merlin chuckled. He didn’t think that the elf would see him that way. Merlin isn’t good with intimate emotions so he doesn’t understand these things. But apparently, with how Teach described it, Sylvie has caught feelings for him. And sadly, Merlin cannot reciprocate this. Because even before he became a demon, his heart is already cold. Though that didn’t stop him from meeting with the dark elf within that same day. “Hey.” Merlin said to Sylvie who is sitting on top of a tree. The dark elf went out of the forest as soon as the sparring session ended. She didn’t want to stay there in the meantime because, even after an hour of sparring, Merlin and Samira still haven’t finished. In fact, the demon ad the manticore too
Merlin called forth the meeting that very night. He didn’t want to waste any time. It is of the essence after all because of a little something that he did. This would be explained as the meeting goes on but, before that, it would be good to say who are present in that meeting. The first is Sylvie. The dark elf who has been of most use to Merlin’s dungeon up to date. The woman who manages the orchard of the dungeon as well as the master of dual blade wielding. She sits at the right side of Merlin, at the very front of the long table. On the left of this is Samira. Although she hasn’t done anything for the dungeon yet, her strength is enough to allow her to have this seat. Meaning she’s just as much of an important figure as Sylvie is. And the position where these two women are seated allows them to exchange sharp glares with one another. Neither of which is backing down.Meanwhile, Teach is on the side of the dark elf. Of course he doesn’t like the fact that he’s not the one seated at
Dirth the Shaman has a lot of useful skills up his arsenal. Most of which focuses on utility. If not for this, then he would’ve been able to defeat both Sylvie and Teach in combat. That’s how powerful he is as a spellcaster. Though he never realized this himself because he’s always had Samira as the point of comparison for his own powers. But that’s not what we’re going to talk about. The only reason why I mentioned this is because, within his vast array of utility skills, there is one that is extremely useful in terms of team fights – [Radiohead].[Information: Generates a mark for up to five allies. Mark bearers are able to share their thoughts with their allies and can also direct their thoughts to specific members if needed be. The link cannot be severed as long as the caster is alive and, this link lasts for half a day’s worth of time. After which the skill goes on cooldown for the same amount of time.]This handy skill is being utilized by Merlin and his allies at that moment. A
[Azazel Dungeon – The Day Before the Fight]After Merlin and Samira finished eating each other up in bed, they stayed there for a while longer. Merlin did so because he needs to clean himself and fix his appearance before going outside. While Samira is just there because she can’t move an inch anymore. Her voluptuous body is showing at all the good sides, teasing Merlin for another round in bed. With the upper part of her breasts showing through the blanket and her left thigh being exposed as well. Revealing the entirety of it, right before her pussy. On her face is an expression that is difficult to put into words. It can probably be interpreted as a look after an arousing time in bed for the first time. But it can very well be anything else. Though Merlin isn’t going to interpret it. He doesn’t want to and he doesn’t need to. The only reason he’s taking his sweet time before leaving is because there are still some questions that he needs answered.“How strong is the ent?” Merlin beg
Everything is just as Merlin expected. The lord of the forest truly is stronger than the manticore and, its powers seem to be amplified by the coming sunrise as well. Though it isn’t much of a surprise for Merlin. He knows that special ents are capable of absorbing sunlight and turning it into their own power. This is a skill called [Photosynthesis] – veryb straightforward as a name but it works the way it is intended to.Unfortunately for the ent though. The sun is barely even up. The first streaks of dawn hasn’t even peeked over the horizon yet. And so, this gives Merlin more than enough time to defeat the monster.“You will pay for your insolence with your life.”“Yeah, you already said that bit.” Merlin replied.Unlike what he expected, the ent isn’t fully aggravated. But that doesn’t matter for what he’s going to do next. Or rather, what Teach will do next. The hybrid knight raised his domain within the battlefield. Covering Merlin, his allies, as well as the ent within it. And a
Other than the title that Merlin gained from killing the lord of the forest, there are other things that he’s able to claim as well. One of these and, probably the most important one, is the book.[Weapon Name: Genesis][Weapon Type: Spellbook][Grade: A+][Intelligence +200][Speed +100][Luck +150]These are the main stats handed out by the book. Already, it is a very powerful weapon that is incomparable to anything else. Just the stats alone makes it a weapon to be desired. But it doesn’t end there. No. there are other things that the weapon can do. And, on the top of the list is one particular skill.[Skill Name: Creation][Grade: S+][Information: Two skills can be merged in order to create one superior skill. The skill created through this process will have the qualities of the skills that are used as catalysts and, will be three times higher compared to the original grade of the said skills used.][Information: An additional skill may be used for the skill creation.
