There are five kingdoms that govern the entirety of the human continent of the world. Even with earth being merged with Requiem, the world has turned more into the liking of the game than the real world. With the rules governing Requiem as well as the natural laws being assimilated into the real world. This brings me back to my first statement. There are five kingdoms in the human continent of the world. The first is Helios on the Southern border. Boasting of their might in terms of military prowess, this kingdom fought on the frontlines during the first war against the great demon lord Beelzebub. This reputation has been kept to date. With the strongest warriors usually coming from this kingdom. A fact that is guaranteed by the tournament of the five kingdoms where Helios always comes out as the champion. The second one is Avarreh on the northern border. A kingdom named after the mountain where it sits on top of. The whole community of this kingdom resides on top of the icy-cold moun
[Helios Kingdom – Training Grounds]Junrio walked through the streets of the kingdom and noticed something. The houses are built the same. These being made with stones and cemented with the use of magic. Creating a sturdy place to live in that does not get burnt. Suffice to say, there is a mining area where they get all of the stones from. A place that’s situated at the far end of the kingdom. A dangerous one that is close to the habitat of monsters. Then there are the citizens. A lot of children have wooden swords which they play with. Fighting in the streets as if they’re in some sort of coliseum. And that is as real as it can get because, these same children would beat up their playmates in these fights. Using their fists when they are disarmed and hitting their playmates where it’d hurt the most. A common sight to behold in a kingdom that values strength above everything else.Parents wouldn’t stop this. In fact, they would even look at their children with shame should this be the
[Northern Kingdom of Avarreh – Present Day]The same day that Lord Junrio went to Helios, the others went back to their respective kingdoms as well. None of them fancied the idea of having to travel long before reaching their destinations. Other than the fact that it’d be bothersome for them, they can’t risk the chance of getting attacked on the way.Just as King Wolfhound said, every son and every daughter of a monarch is taught on how they can avoid danger. That is the kind of thinking that the group is making use of. This is imprinted into their heads as the world was reconstructed by Requiem. The same imprinting done to their other memories, where their lives in earth is now merged with the lives created for them in the new world. That being said, Arthur took out the teleportation scroll handed to him by when he left the kingdom. Using this, he’s able to return back to the Northern Kingdom. And though he is a prince of it, this is the first time in the real world that he’s enterin
Just like Avarreh, the other kingdoms also agreed to the terms given presented by Junrio. He wasn’t very assuming in what he wanted from them. Just that they need to add a search party and a group capable enough to fight those that has the audacity to capture royalty. This implies one other thing. That the enemies won’t be relatively weak. Anyone who plots against the throne would have something in their arsenal that they can use to win. That is a great possibility and, because all of the kings and queens of the land know this, they sent some of their finest warriors for this. The paperwork and everything else is still being arranged though. It would at least take another day before they get deployed. After which they will simply use teleportation scrolls to arrive at the city quickly. This also being provided within the letter. Granting a maximum of five scrolls per kingdom. Implying the number that Junrio wants from them. The lord of Genesis City is very careful in all of this. He
The group arrived at the front of the dungeon after walking for five more minutes. It isn’t that far from their initial teleportation point. Allowing them the leisure of moving slowly before they begin the actual work. And it is also because of this that Pietro noticed the trap laid outside the dungeon.“Would you look at that. They really prepared something like this outside the dungeon.” Kulxa said, the second one to notice the trap as the others followed.Pietro stabbed the trap and sure enough, the fake floor got taken down. Revealing the spiked ground that is headed underneath it. One which also contains the bones of those that have fallen for it already. The poor souls of the adventurers that wanted to get the reward that Asther presented to them. These pirates are the same of course. They’re also expecting a large reward at the end of this dungeon. But what separates them from the adventurers that fell is that, they are actual veterans in this field. “What do you make of this?
Sylvie already knew trouble is brewing even before Pietro’s group entered the dungeon. As a dark elf, she has a certain connection to any plant that she touches. And as long as she is in a certain proximate range from any of these plants, she will get a notification once anything happens to them. This might seem incredible but all it really does is tell her if one of these plants died. That’s all and, this is the very same reason why Sylvie has always seen it as a useless skill. It doesn’t seem to bring anything to the table. Just a cheap party trick that she can brag about whenever she faces non-elves. But Merlin taught her the true value of this. Something which happened a day before Asther and the adventurers launched their attack.[Azazel Dungeon – Sylvie’s Garden]“So, this whole place is going to be mine huh.” Sylvie took a look around the entirety of the place. It is a vast area within the dungeon that comprises two rooms. One being the place where the garden will be raised a
There are a couple of things that Sylvie made use of in order to get an advantage early on. First are the plants. Using the radar that’s now enhanced, she’s able to pick up that there are individuals outside the dungeon. Smart ones to be exact as they’re able to pick up the trap that she and Merlin left behind. After they closed and sealed the trap, Sylvie even added an extra layer of concealment in order to further enhance the shrouding. However, this is still not enough to fool the new enemies. Ones which even destroyed the trap altogether which Sylvie is also notified of as well. That’s why she immediately mobilized everyone. The three banshees for a stronger illusion and Teach who will act as support fire. The dark elf already knows that there will be trouble. And though she isn’t exactly sure how much trouble this would be, it’s better to be overprepared for stuff like these than to be caught off guard by the opponents. That’s why she’s able to win in the first exchange. With th
Pietro and the others watched the fight unfold from a safe distance. Right inside the barrier that has yet to be broken. Nor does it look like it will be broken anytime soon as well. Pietro believes this entirely and, is calmly watching the fight in front of them that’s about to unfold. One which only involves the boss monster of the dungeon and, their party member Killian. Though one of them seem to disagree with this decision.“What are you thinking?” Kulxa grabbed Pietro by the collar, almost lifting him up if not for the man’s own force stopping him. “Why would you send him alone?”“So you don’t want him dead?” Pietro asked.“Oh he’s the first that I want dead.” Kulxa said as she let go of their leader. “But that doesn’t mean I’ll just send him to his death when he’s still useful.”“Relax. He’s not going to die.” Pietro stated.“What makes you say that?” Syx asked.“Just a gut feeling.” Pietro said as he drew his attention back towards the fight. The enemy is dispersing spears out
