“She’s losing.”

These words came straight out of Merlin’s lips as he watched the fight alongside Sylvie’s Of course, both of his allies are placed on the same state. Though he can also tell who’s losing heavier.

“She should’ve killed her target right at the start of the battle. There’s more chance for her then rather than now.”

The demon lord knows that Samira’s aware of this as well. That she could’ve ended the fight even before it can properly begin. But this is completely contrary to her nature and, as such, isn’t something she would even think of doing. For the manticore named Samira is a warrior driven by the desire to find worthy opponents. That is the only thing that keeps her going.

Though her loyalty is now to Merlin, this thirst of hers cannot be quenched. Merlin can’t tell her to stop playing with her food. That’s why she’s placed in the predicament she’s currently in. One where she’s being beaten badly by her foe. Although, this doesn’t raise any concern for Merlin at all
