CHAPTER 139

In the warden’s office, Don Saber just finished eating lunch and was licking his hands clean.

A woke-dog rushed into his room. “Sir, that guy’s here.”

“That guy? Doesn’t he have a name?” Don spoke with a temper.

“T-The one who beat you the other day…” he folded his hands and humbly said. That human is here, sir.”

Don’s eyes widened. “Bring him in. Now!”

“Y-Yes, sir!”

After the guard left, Don realized that his heart was beating fast. (Why’s he here? He didn’t come here to pick on me, did he?)

Soon, Myles entered the room, and Don ended up standing before he knew it. “Please sit down,” he gestured.

“I didn’t come here to have a chat,” Myles straightforwardly said. “First, I appreciate that you took the bounty off my head. Second, I want you to do me a small favor.”

Don folded his arms across his chest. “I’m listening.”

“I want you to get me a pass into the central prison.”
