At Ria’s house, Myles and others had a long, fun chat with Hipster and Foxie, one of the two citizens that helped them after they entered the wolf city.

“You should keep your Mage Score higher than six, or it wouldn’t do any good for you,” Hipster advised. “I’ve never let my score fall lower than seven in the past five years. I can get it higher than eight, either because of the business I’m in. Brawls are common in these inns and bars, so that’s that. But it’s different for adventurers like you guys. You can reach scores above nine if you achieve good results in the dungeons.”

“I’ve managed to keep my score above six,” Foxie also voiced her mind. “That’s enough for the small-time job I do.”

Ria smiled and put the house keys and documents in Foxie’s hands, startling her.

“What are you doing?” Foxie was confused. “Why did you give me these?”

“We probably won’t come back to this house, so it’s yours from now on,” Ria calmly stated.
