“Let me hear more of your melody, woman!” the Lich King laughed as his flames grew in size and so did the screams of Verella. “That’s more like it. You’re getting closer to how it sounds in hell.”

Suddenly, the flames all got sucked into Verella’s body.

“Ah?” the Lich King couldn’t understand what just happened. He was in midair. So was Verella. He could float in the air using his magic, but how could Verella do that without using her flames? Something didn’t feel right. Moreover, he could still hear her heartbeat, and it was steadying. “How did you absorb my flames, woman?” he unleashed a giant ball of black fire, which flew toward her with increasing speed. “Necrotic Cannon!”

Verella opened her eyes and punched the fire ball to the side with her left fist. The giant ball of fire struck a large building and utterly destroyed it.

“Deflect these if you can! Necrotic Chakra Bullets!” the Lich king unleashed a torrent of dark energy bullets through his magic staff.
