CHAPTER 229

Myles walked down a stone pavement lit up with glowing stones. There were muddy grounds on either side of the pavement, with either frozen or hibernating frogs numbered in dozens on both sides.

However, Myles’ gaze was on the throne that was on the other side of the pavement. A humanoid brown frog was sitting on the throne and was smoking from a pipe. He had a cone-shaped star crystal come out of the crown of his head.

“I’ve been dying from boredom and was thinking about leaving this place,” the boss frog spoke, “but someone finally showed up.” He blew smoke through his mouth, nostrils, as well as ears. “I don’t want to kill you too quickly, so…” he picked one of the swords that were next to the throne and threw it on the pavement. The sword slid and reached Myles’ feet and stopped inches away from him. “Why don’t you use that sword and kill some of my boredom first?” he whistled, and the hibernating frogs moved and converged onto Myles.
