CHAPTER 233

The guard sitting outside the sewage tunnel was yawning. He looked in Ria’s direction. She was sitting under a tree shade, seemingly meditating.

“It’s been more than a day, Miss. He’s probably dead, so I think it’s better you leave,” the guard said, but she didn’t respond. (My shift will end soon, so why should I care?)

Just then, Ria stood.

(Is she leaving?) The guard wondered, and then he heard footsteps coming from inside the tunnel. He quickly stood and grabbed his spear. It could be a human or a monster, so he was ready to fight if needed.

Moments later, Myles entered his view. Moreover, he had a yellowish energy glowing around him. “This…” his eyes bulged open. “It can’t be… that’s the dungeon energy enveloping you. Don’t tell me… y-you conquered the dungeon all by yourself?”
