CHAPTER 34

Rosie was struggling to fight Blue Dog as his verbal attacks proved far more effective against her than his physical attacks.

“Don’t get pulled into his pace, Rosie,” Maria warned her daughter while defending herself from Ayan and Johnson’s attacks. “He’s a melee fighter. Keep your distance and deal damage.”

Rosie listened to her mother’s advice and backed away.

“You think I’ll let you do that?” Blue Dog tried to close in the distance, but she made water-walls out of thin air, and they momentarily slowed Blue Dog. In that time, she made the distance. To her surprise, her mother also joined her.

Maria quickly said in a low voice, “If Dave and Shreya join in the fight, things will get out of our hands. There’s only one way we can escape from this.” She made an ‘o’ symbol with her hand. “You know what I’m talking about, right?”

“You don’t mean…” Rosie’s eyes widened. “But if we do that…”
