CHAPTER 69

With a tough shield in hand, buying a few seconds didn’t seem like an impossible task to Justin, but the same wasn’t the case for Casey or Biski. They couldn’t believe that he ran toward the humanoid bull instead of staying there and defending.

However, Myles, having just opened his eyes, looked at things differently.

“He’s distancing himself,” Myles thought. “If he were to stay next to the women, the opponent can take down all three of them together, but separating himself from others would help buy time. He might just make us pass while sacrificing himself.” Myles once again was reminded why he had chosen to heal Justin in the past even after he had just been reincarnated and was not at all inclined to save even an ant at that point.

Buller didn’t wait until Justin closed the distance. He charged the chainsaw with electricity, and it flew off of the machine like sparks and crashed on the metal shield. Justin didn’t get pushed back but got rooted to the ground instead as electricity
