“You crazy bitch! What the hell did you just do!" Jaxon groaned out, looking at the screwdriver that was impaled at his side. He tried to pull it out but Sasha yelled, stopping him. "If you pull that screwdriver out, you'll bleed out and it will be very nasty. I've created a hole and I think it pierced one of your major organs. Trust me, you'll want to listen to me. Don't remove it or you'll bleed to death. If you know what's good for you, you'll call the ambulance immediately." She explained, breathing heavily. "I didn't want to do this but you forced me to."Jaxon looked at her in horror and cursed out before calling an ambulance with shaky hands. When she noticed that he was carried away, she pushed him with force, making him land on the floor with a loud thud. He wasn't so lucky and the screw driver went deeper into his stomach. He screamed out but Sasha paid no attention to him. Instead, she searched around the room trying to look for her phone. She would have run out of th
It was already late and the workers in the restaurant were already closing by the time Sasha got there. She looked around, hoping that she'd find Damson but she didn't. Although, deep down she knew that there was no way he would hang around here because he would know the men that tried to get him killed could come back for him. She walked up to one of the waitresses who looked at her warily."Hi, I'm so sorry to disturb you but do you remember the incident that happened here this afternoon. Some men were beating up a particular person. It happened over there. She said, pointing to the spot she and Damson sat together. I want to ask if you know what happened to the person that got beaten." "Oh, about that. The police came and the men ran away. The person they beat up was badly injured and the policeman even offered to call an ambulance for him but he declined. He sat down here for a minute before I had to tell him to leave. The image of him looking terrible wasn't good for the restau
Sonic was about to move and walk up to Sasha when he saw three drunk men surrounding her. He frowned as he watched them talk to her and what he thought was that she knew them but not until she looked uncomfortable talking to them did he think otherwise. He was already walking towards them to ask who they were when his phone rang. It was his father. He panicked and didn't know what to do for a minute. He wondered why he was calling him all of a sudden. He picked the call and cleared his throat. "Hello father." "I heard you didn't show up at the orphanage for the charity program. Most of my friends just called and asked to know why. I clearly told you that today was important and for the company to look good, you have to show up. Will you explain what happened and why you weren't there?""That's not true father…I was there, but something came up and I left immediately." Sonic replied, his heart beating fast. He was scared of his father because of the things that he could do to him. H
"You sound and look very serious. Are you sure this is something you can handle by yourself? You can talk about it and who knows, I can help you out. A problem shared is half solved." Sonic said. "I don't even even know you or your name. Isn't it weird for me to start opening up about who is going on with me just like that? What you should try to ask right now is my name." Sasha replied, rubbing her arms while wondering if telling the stranger in front of her about what happened will help her find Damson. "Oh, my bad. Sorry about that. I was just very worried about you. That's why it slipped my mind to ask you what your name is. My name is Sonic and I work I'm the president of Sonic Electronixs. What about you?""Wait, is it the same popular Electronics company you're talking about?" Sasha asked and Sonic nodded, impressed with how he was being looked at by her. "Wow, I never thought I'd see the face behind the company and also, sorry about my reaction. I'm just a little surprised
Damson bent down, resting his hands on his knees and breathing heavily. He was trying to catch his breath before he walked up to sasha. He gasped as he ran his habd through his hair, happy to find out that she was fine. After he had gotten a hold of his breath, he walked up to her. "Sasha?" He called out and she turned to look at him, tears forming in her eyes. "Oh my God. Damson!" She shrieked, jumping up off the bench and running towards him. Damson opened his arms wide and hugged her, breathing her scent in. "I'm so sorry." He whispered, hugging her tightly. "I'm so sorry I'm late." Sasha didn't say anything but started to bawl her eyes out. She was exhausted, relieved and happy. She had thought something bad had happened to Damson. She tried to speak but she couldn't and continued to cry. Damson held her and patted her back gently. He understood that she must have been very worried and that was why she was very emotional. Some minutes later, they pulled away from each other
Damson took Sasha to his apartment and not to her dorm because he wanted her close to him. He knew it was kind of risky because Sasha could end up questioning him on how he got the place so he quickly told her it was a distant relative's vacation house. Sasha didn't push to ask more questions because she had a long day so she just nodded, showered and slept immediately. The next day, Damson had planned to spend the rest of the day with Sasha but his plans got ruined because Fred called him. He had just come back from his grandmother's house and out the door to the dorm locked. He didn't take his key with him and he couldn't call Luke to help him with his key because he went out of the city so his last option was to call Damson. Damson explained to Sasha that he had to go to school because Fred called him and she said it was fine that she needed to go home too so he didn't have to worry that his plans got ruined because she also had something to do at home. Damson left the apartme
"Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Sabrina said, standing in front of Damson and blocking his path, making him almost collide with her. I knew it, your mind isn't here. She added, shaking her head. "What's going on? Are you still sulking about the fact that my dad didn't let you go home?" "Oh, there's nothing going on. I'm totally fine. Why would you think that my mind isn't here?" Damson asked. "And just so you know, I'm not sulking." He added, rolling his eyes."I'm not blind, Damson. You keep acting weird, looking around like you don't want to be here. I know my dad forced you to eat dinner with me but at least you should see it as him being thankful. You don't have to act this way. You're just acting like a child." She muttered. "That's not true, I want to be here. It's just that I'm thinking about something, which is not important. You don't have to worry about it. That is why my mind is elsewhere. Sorry about that." Damson apologized. "Alright, fine. I also want t
"Are you sure that is Paxton's car?" Damson asked and Sabrina nodded her head, trying to fight back tears. She was still in shock and couldn't believe she almost got hit by a car. Damson looked back at the red car to see that the driver wasn't out yet. He was about to stand up and go and check who it was when Sabrina held his cloth tightly shaking her head. "Where do you think you're going? Stay here!" She said firmly. "I have to check if it's really Paxton that's in the car. Damson replied. If he's the one, we have to call the police immediately. This is an attempted murderer and he must not escape." "You can't go just like that. It's not safe. What if he has a gun or something? You really just have to wait. Stay here and call the police instead." Sabrina said. "Relax, you don't have to worry. I'm pretty sure that the person in the car is severely injured or unconscious which means he wouldn't be able to do much. I also have to help, the smoke coming out of the car is a lot and w
