Damson wiped the beads of sweat that was forming on his forehead for the hundredth time. He had underestimated the distance between Jaxon’s house and the company. He didn't know it would be very far.. He walked, ran and walked again but it seemed like he wasn't getting any closer to the company.

He leaned against a wall, catching his breath. His mind went back to Sasha and he couldn't help but feel bad that she had to go through all of that because of him. He knew something had gone wrong last night and he was angry with himself for not trying to find out more about it.

If he had pushed her further to explain what was going on, all of this wouldn't be happening.
