Apology

"urhhuh", what happened where am I, "ahhhh" it hurts like hell, my whole body is in pain, how did I become like this, I should retrace my memories to remember what really happened, yes let me see the last thing I remember is me and my brothers fighting against a boy that claims he his a player, after beating us to into a death like state he started asking questions about players that is all I can remember, I should open my eyes to survey my surroundings ah but it hurts, moving even a muscle of any parts of my body hurts like hell but I have to endure it, slowly yes I can do this, "uhh" a white porcelain roof and this fluffy feeling underneath am I in a room "oh you are awake, your endurance is top notch you know that", who said that is it from my left, alright I will slowly move my eyes to the left "you have still got a lot of healing to do so do not stress your body too much", Holy is that an angel wait maybe I really did die after all it is not possible for a human to be that beautiful, I looked to my right and there lays Barrett and Rai but still what is with all this bandage on us even with my healing abilities to think I could be reduced to this truly pathetic.

Three days have passed and the wounds are starting to close up, I asked miss angel for the identity of the person that brought us here but she refused to say anything until we fully recover, during the three days the three of us tried our hardest to fasten up our recovery, although it took us three whole days we are finally free from the stench of the bandage and we will also be able to see our savior, seeing the room we are in makes it obvious that the person is a player as well.

The door creeks open and there stands a boy, "what the no way" the one who saved us is also the demon that put us in that position in the first place

Barett stands up from his seat and takes on a defensive form while Rai maintained his composure, Barett has never been able to bottle up his anger so it is understandable that he would react like that, but the common sense in him should have told him that trying to start another batter is pointless since the difference in our abilities is like day and night unless of course he wants to go back to wearing the bandage

Paton> I know I am not blind but remember what we promised miss angel so we should at least try to hear him out first, his reasons for doing what he did.

Right now it feels like I am being scolded by my parents, when I told the little monster (Avina) what transpired between us she gave me a real life changing scolding all just to make me see how wrong I was and I am also aware of it which is why the right thing to do is to first apologize, I bow my head deeply and began my apology speech

Paton> those people you call hybrids have been existing since ages ago now they have become the norms of society only someone who has been living in a secluded location would not know that

Gelios> well um you are right and I am really sorry but umm there is one thing I would like for you to explain to me, about the Dungeon you spoke of the other day

Paton> are you not a player? then you should know what I am talking about

Gelios> I do not, I have tried whatever methods I could in the past three days but I have no idea of how to manifest it

Paton> alright I will explain, dungeons are the general reward a player gets when they complete their synchronization test

Gelios> synchronization test, I have not heard anything about that

Paton> well it is simply what it says, when a player gets Transmigrated to this world the body and soul will not be in harmony since originally our soul does not belong in this body it is a stranger to it, the synchronization test is what will help join the souls wavelength and the body wavelength together

Gelios> I partly understand that so apart from the Dungeon you mentioned is there any other rewards for completing the synchronization test

Paton> well for one you avoid the risk of not going berserk and also being able to draw out the full potential of your body

Gelios> ehn berserk

Paton> yes like I said earlier, currently your body and soul are not in harmony like your body is too strong for your soul to handle, think of it like this you have a large size water tank and a small size straw, when you put in the straw it will not get to the very end of the tank only halfway through, now your soul which is the straw ends up sucking out the water from the tank but like I said since it does not reach to the very end of the water tank it will be unable to suck out all the water in the tank, the remaining water with no soul to keep it in check ends up rampaging until it finishes and in a case like that the player ends up dying.
