The Transmigration

It was unlike any normal day with me carrying on with my normal daily activities which is shutting myself indoor and playing the virtual reality game (The LASP). The LASP is a game that was released fifteen years ago and it still retains its rank as the number one best virtual game, why you ask well that is because unlike any other virtual games, The LASK contents are player based, the story line will be decided depending on what moves the players make, it is like an open fantasy like game. And there is me after being abandoned in the reality world, I chose The LASK to seek comfort for myself.

I logged in and ended up in my two storey modern bungalow, I built the house after grinding my level high enough to earn me a suitable spot in the rankings, and now I just whisk away my time watching the other players on my lacrima TV while eating roasted monster meat. As I was eating, a bright light shone covering my entire house, I ran to go check if I was under attack by an intruder but it was already too late. I landed on the floor of my house, and felt no pain, the first thing I did, not even minding the house that was already in an upside down state was to go outside to see what was going on, I was confident about taking on whoever it was that attacked me but when I got outside there was no one, but I could feel that something was different, I looked around my surroundings and it is definitely different, my house was initially located In a dark deep forest far away from civilization, but currently am in an open grassland and the air feels so real like too real to just be a game, I contemplated if it was an illusion casted by a nearby player so I used one of my search skill to check for any player, to my surprise I found none and what was I thinking, even an illusion would not make the air feel real. This left me wondering what could have happened, if it was not an attack from a player then could it be from a monster, no I did not feel any presence whatsoever, my only option now is to log out and inform the gm's about what happened, but there was no logout option, I scrolled as hard as I could but it was nowhere to be found, it was then a very insane idea struck my head, I laughed at how preposterous the idea was but there was no better explanation for the situation I am currently in so to verify that idea I did some tests like ripping of a handful of grass from the floor and eating it, the taste was indeed grass, in LASK the taste function is not a hundred percent adapted but this is not enough to prove my hypothesis, I went inside my house and headed to the storage room that was underneath the house building, there are three doors before me, I open the one in the middle and before me is a mountain of weapons of different varieties. My hobbies in the game include watching the lacrima, sleeping and item collection. Weapons, armor, Potions and Artifacts were my main focus of collection and I am very good at it, to fit in all my collections I had to use an enlargement spell on the storage rooms.

I flew up to the highest shelf and took a sword with a white handle with inscriptions on it, I placed the bladed side of the sword on my left wrist and cut myself with it and sure enough blood gushed out and not long after the wound healed back to normal. This proved my earlier theory which is that I am no longer in the game world, in LASK, when a player gets cut white particles is what flows out not blood and the skin does not get affected instead the heath bar goes down.

I do not know how but I have been summoned to a different world as my game character, It must have been that light from before that transported me here, I have no idea of what the reason might be but I knew there was something I had to do and that is fortifying myself, my experience on earth has made me realize how callous we humans can be that is why I shut myself away from any interactions with other humans, in this world I have no idea of what to expect so I have to prepare for whatever adversaries I might encounter.
