Calvin Was Attacked

After hours of trying to unlock the diary, Calvin and Lizzie were exhausted. They decided to take a break and headed to the kitchen to make some cold drinks. Normally, the kitchen was filled with their chatter, but today, the silence was heavy with unspoken worries and thoughts. Calvin, especially, felt the weight of fatigue pressing down on him, having expended so much energy to heal Lizzie earlier.

Calvin opened the refrigerator and pulled out a pitcher of lemonade, while Lizzie fetched glasses from the cupboard. The only sounds were the clinking of ice cubes and the hum of the refrigerator. Lizzie was lost in her own thoughts, her mind racing with the vision of Calvin's impending death and the mysterious diary that held the potential key to their past and future. She stirred her drink absentmindedly, her eyes distant.
