Don’t Blame Me!

Kevin's eyes blazed with indignation. "Calvin, you're not even a real doctor. You can't just come in here and make diagnoses on a whim. Lang Hospital is a reputable institution, not some place for your alternative treatments."

Calvin met his gaze steadily. "Reputable? Are you sure about that?" His voice was calm but firm, cutting through the tension in the room.

Around them, murmurs began to rise. Patients, visitors, and even some staff exchanged glances and whispered amongst themselves. One voice spoke a bit louder, echoing the rumors that had been circulating for some time.

"He's right. There have been whispers about Lang Hospital's incompetence," a middle-aged man said, his tone hushed but carrying weight.

Another woman chimed in, "I heard about a girl who almost committed suicide because Dr. Lang discharged her prematurely."

"And there was that incident at the charity ball," a young nurse added, her face pale. "He couldn't save a guest there."
