In the dimly lit backseat of the taxi, Calvin leaned closer to Lizzie, his voice barely above a whisper. The night’s events weighed heavily on his mind, and the tension in his voice was unmistakable. "Lizzie," he began, his gaze locked on her, "how did you manage to find me back there? It felt like you came out of nowhere."

Lizzie let out a tired sigh, her body sinking further into the worn seat cushions. The adrenaline that had fueled her earlier was now fading, leaving behind a deep exhaustion. She rubbed her temples, trying to find the right words. "It's a long story, Calvin," she replied, her voice soft but laced with fatigue. Her eyes flickered with a mix of relief and worry as she looked at her brother. "But what I found out... it’s not good. Not good at all." Her voice trembled slightly, the gravity of her discovery settling between them like a heavy fog.
