Christina's challenge only added fuel to the fire, her voice carrying a note of daring as she addressed Kevin's hesitation. "Why the reluctance, Dr. Lang?" she pressed, her gaze unwavering. "If you're truly confident that the glass is safe, then what's stopping you from proving it?"

Kevin's unease became palpable, his facade of certainty beginning to crack under the pressure.

Albert tried to make sense all of this. "Are you afraid that it might be poisoned as Calvin said, Dr. Lang?" he questioned, his tone cutting through the silence like a blade.

"Hold on a moment," she interjected, her eyes narrowing as she turned her gaze towards Calvin. "How do you know that the glass is poisoned? Could it be that you are the one who placed the toxin at the bottom?
