The Old Man

Calvin hastily administered CPR to the young boy, his movements swift and determined. With each compression and breath, he prayed for signs of life to return. After what felt like an eternity, the boy finally coughed up water, gasping for air as consciousness flickered back into his eyes.

Relief flooded through Calvin as he watched the boy expel the lake water from his lungs, a sign that he was on the path to recovery. Without wasting a moment, Calvin channeled his energy, willing warmth into the boy's body to stave off the threat of hypothermia.

“This is incredible!” said someone who is capturing the moment using his phone.

“That man must be a doctor. Look at that boy, he looks fine. It’s impossible, the lake is nearly freezed,” someone else said.

Calvin ignored them all. He turned his attention to the boy.
