Chapter 156: The Sanction

On the day of the trial, Raymond woke up with excitement - he was eager to put an end to the game he was playing with his father.

At exactly eight am, thirty minutes before the start of the trial, Raymond and Niko were already seated in court. Julia wanted to join them but she couldn't since she had a test while Adam, who had gone on a vacation with his family a week ago, couldn't join them.

Fifteen minutes before the start of the trial, the quiet courtroom began bustling with activities. Winston's family and friends and a couple of spectators began to fill in the empty chairs as they spoke in hushed tones.

"You're here already," Bernard said, announcing his presence, he was standing beside Raymond.

"Yeah."

"I see. All you need to do is to sit back and watch everything run smoothly just like I promised."

"Okay. I'm counting on you then."
