A Twisted Mind [III]

The sky had been gloomy for many days, and going to the deck to look at the surrounding sea was a must for Xena every day. Except for the first day when she was chatting and laughing with everyone, she was obviously a little isolated in the rest of the days, not approaching others, nor letting others approach her. She was in a daze with a sad face, or walking around anxiously with her phone in her hand.

The sky had cleared up slightly by then. Xena angrily smashed the phone that kept saying "The number you're calling is switched off" to the ground. She raised her hand and slapped her forehead, muttering angrily. "The phone has been powered off for many days. Damn, why didn't I think that the phone I gave him would run out of battery? If I had known earlier, I would have bought a domestic phone with a long standby time."

Xena returned to the room and curled up on the sofa, supporting her head with one hand. She made a few grimaces, then stared blankly with a depressed look on her face.
