Still Holding A Grudge?

"Come with me for a walk." Xena naturally refused to let him be. Crying and beating were her specialty, but she usually only used this trick on her father.

Xena's eyes were full of tears and she pulled Irving's arm with a resentful look and shook it hard.

The students around him were dumbfounded. They didn't know what kind of game Irving was playing, and they didn't expect to see him not even paying attention to such a wealthy girl. Naturally, there was also a pair of eyes, staring at him with hatred.

Irving was shaken so hard that he couldn't reprimand Xena in front of many classmates. After all, he didn't want to reveal his differences yet.

Xena, with an obvious smile of success on his face, grabbed Irving's hand and ran around the small campus, as if to let everyone know who the ownership of this man belonged to.

"Bitch..." Nancy, who saw this scene from the teaching building, cursed fiercely. For Irving, it was a completely unreasonable disaster. Nancy's emotion towards him was of utter indifference. But Xena, who had just arrived at school, was different. Xena was not only beautiful, but his family was also very rich and powerful. Completely transcending their status in school.

Women were very jealous, and a cold look flashed in Nancy's eyes.

Ding!!!

The school bell rang.

Irving casually stuffed his books into the drawer, stood up and left. After returning to campus, he was no longer an object of bullying. Not to mention the ruthless image he left on people's minds, even with a woman like Xena protecting him, there was no one to bully him. No one even dare to blatantly touch his hair again.

Xena seemed to know that Irving would not wait for her to go home with him, so she stood guard at the school gate early.

"Have you been waiting for a long time?" Irving kept walking and glanced at Xena who was keeping up.

"No." Xena buried her head and replied softly, holding her schoolbag with both hands, thinking that skipping class for fifteen minutes was not too long.

Irving really couldn't figure out what was going on in Xena's mind. She wanted to walk with him instead of riding in a luxury car. She didn't want to live in her family mansion but wanted to squeeze into a small house with him. As for the bodyguard, humming, of course it would be safer to stay with him.

However, it seemed nice to have someone with him.

The two of them were silent all the way.

Since Xena had paid sufficient rent and declared that it included nutritional fees, electricity and water bills, and protection fees, she particularly emphasized that she was going to the supermarket to buy food and could no longer abuse her stomach.

Originally, she had thought about going to an eatery alone outside, but didn't the book say that as long as you never leave a man, he would never leave you. Naturally, Irving didn't know Xena's little idea of replacing her bodyguard with him.

Irving led his now rich friend through the streets and alleys, looking at a large chain supermarket not far away. He smiled bitterly and shook his head. You must know that according to his usual habits, the vegetable market was the place for him to buy food, but Xena has already convinced him that when they go there after school, all the good dishes would haven been picked already.

"Our home is really far from here. How about I ask my dad to buy a house nearby and you can move in with me? I'll still pay you the rent, water and electricity, but you can only come here alone." The two of them stood. In the alley, Xena looked at the supermarket just across the way and gasped.

Irving didn't want to think about problems that he couldn't figure out or explain. After all, women's minds were at the bottom of their minds, and he had two women to deal with.

Suddenly, Irving raised his hand to stop Xena, who was immersed in moving forward, and said with a wry smile: "Look, I knew you would bring me trouble."

At this time, the alley entrance was blocked by several delinquent youths who were standing at the end of the alley where Irving and Xena came in, smoking and spanking, also blocked the escape route. The group of people slowly pressed in towards the two of them.

"What's going on here?" Irving raised the corners of his mouth slightly, staring at Lincoln behind the group of men, but said softly: "Are you here to cause trouble?"

Xena tilted his head and finally figured out the situation, and said happily: "Don't worry, I'll take care of it."

In Xena's eyes, these little gangsters were not worth mentioning at all. Even if they look ferocious in appearance, they were still young thugs, children of their parents. Compared to those adults who were trying to kidnap her and cause her troubles, these ones looked like children.

Xena took a step forward proudly, raised her chin slightly and stared at the leader, a man with a scar on his face, and said disdainfully. "Do you know who I am? You dare to block our way to buy groceries, don't you want to live anymore? While I'm still in a good mood, you better get out of here right now.”

The gangsters were obviously taken aback. The leader of the scarred man turned his head and looked at Lincoln behind him, wondering: "Lincoln, is this the rich girl you are talking about? Is there anything wrong with your brain?"

Lincoln smiled proudly, took a few steps forward, leaned close to the Scar man's ear, and whispered something softly. Just by the lewd looks that he and Scar gave to Xena from time to time, she knew for sure they had nothing nice to say.

After Lincoln finished speaking, he took a step forward arrogantly, raised his finger and pointed at Irving and said: "I'll give you a chance to challenge him one on one. If you win, you can leave. If you lose, we can keep Xena and let my buddy play with her for two days. How about it? This is your only chance."

It seems that he still couldn't let go of being kicked in the abdomen by Irving. And as far as he thought, last time he was totally hit by a sneak attack, otherwise ten of Irving wouldn't be his opponent. Of course, the most important thing was that Xena seems to be very tough in the background. It was better to find an excuse than to make trouble over nothing.

When Xena heard this, she looked very moved with a smile on her lips. Was this ragtag group of people in front of her also Irving's opponent?

Just when Xena was about to nod in agreement, Irving shook his head and said calmly: "She is not a commodity and cannot be used as a wager."

"Uh?" Xena turned to look at Irving, with little stars shining in her eyes, and her heart suddenly throbbed inexplicably.

"Then show me what you got." Lincoln looked angry and rushed towards Irving. He raised his fist and swung, not forgetting to curse. "Asshole.""
