002. Get lost in a mysterious tomb

“Red flame-tailed fox! No more mistakes!" Julius's eyes filled with hunting intent and without caring about anything else, he immediately shot into the darkness of the forest to catch his prized game.

“If I can catch him...!” Julius's face turned red and a greedy smile endlessly formed on his mouth, he immediately circulated even more spirit energy towards his feet.

A white aura formed on the soles of Julius' feet, and his speed instantly increased drastically.

He had lost his prized game before, and he didn't want that to happen again.

However, the speed of the red flame-tailed fox was not to be underestimated in the slightest, and after a while, Julius started sweating out of exhaustion from the constant use of his spirit energy. Furthermore, he started to narrow his eyes restlessly.

"It is not good! I have to do something!” He muttered, he had entered the forest deep enough, and that certainly added danger to himself, especially at night.

He realized the target's speed wasn't bad, Julius had used his best speed, but the target had yet to enter the attack range of his arrow.

“I have to get it no matter what!” Julius's blue orbs glinted as he aimed at his target with full concentration.

Finding a spiritual beast less than 30 kilometers deep in the forest was a stroke of luck, how could he be willing to let it go?

“Soooust!”

The bow strings vibrated, and wooden arrows with sharp iron tips shot out at high speed.

Even though Julius realized the target was not within the range of his arrows, there was no other method to choose from.

He didn't have much hope, but at least, the arrow attack caused the target to panic and immediately change direction.

After all, the thing Julius was most afraid of was entering a forest more than 30 kilometers away.

On the other hand, the sound of the wind roaring from the arrows made the red fire-tailed fox sober up instantly, it turned its head back and quickly jumped to avoid the arrows aiming at it.

Julius's archery skills couldn't be underestimated, he had already weighed everything up, otherwise, the 7 tailed foxes wouldn't have taken care.

“Pluck!”

The red flame-tailed fox managed to dodge easily, and Julius' arrows just stuck in the tree.

Julius wasn't surprised by the result, but the problem was, the red flame-tail fox didn't change its course.

The fox didn't look the least bit panicked, its speed was steady and it continued to move straight into the forest as if it already knew Julius' weakness.

“Fuck!” Julius cursed in his heart, his plan failed miserably. Now, the level of difficulty has increased, and the fox is quite intelligent.

The cold aura in the forest was also getting hostile, the fingertips of Julius' hands were pale and slightly wrinkled, and it was only a matter of time before his hands went numb.

"Should I go back?" Julius suddenly stopped and started to think hard, his spirit energy was already drained a lot and his speed started to drop. While the target looks stable and continues to run away.

After thinking hard, Julius just lowered his head slightly and looked at his prey that was getting further and further away, he decided to turn back.

However, his chances of catching the fox were too few, so he decided to back off and bid his luck farewell.

Julius turned around casually, wanting to take a step back to the carcass of the giant black pig.

"Wait! Where am I now?" Julius's eyes widened, he saw and felt the drastic changes around him.

He was standing on dry ground, and the few trees he had just passed had turned into dead trees, not even a sign of life to be seen.

The aura of death slowly penetrated the flesh and bones, Julius shuddered in horror, as if death was enveloping him.

"This is not good, I have to get out of this place right now!" Julius walked faster, looking for a way out, his instincts told him he was in a very dangerous place.

Moments later, Julius' body started to freeze as he looked around him, "Isn't this a burial area?" Julius gulped in disbelief with his own eyes.

Around it is full of tombstones with unique ancient carvings, then in the middle of the cemetery there is a 10-meter high tower, the tower also had ancient carvings, but they were more complete and exerted heavy pressure.

"Where am I exactly?" Julius's inner fear was full of fear, as far as he knew, no history said there was a cemetery in the forest of Solus.

“Weng!”

At a time when Julius's fears and worries increase.

The dark clouds in the sky suddenly turned red, as if they had set fire to the sky.

Julius's heart suddenly shook, and his legs became heavy, he tried to back away but tripped over a tree root making him fall on the spot.

“Hmm, just a low-level creature!” A woman's voice rang in Julius' ears, it was the softest voice he had ever heard in his life, but on the other hand, the voice contained a deep death.

"Who is there?!" Julius used all his courage to be able to ask such a simple question.

"Who am I? Haha, so sassy. Let's see if you have the right to know or not!” The reply voice of the mysterious woman sounded playful.

After those words finished speaking, two figures of red-eyed blue wolves suddenly emerged from the red hole that had formed in the air. The two immediately groaned in front of Julius with a distance of only 5 meters.

“High-level beast!” Julius' heart almost jumped out of his body, just from the aura given off by the two red-eyed wolves already made him depressed and short of breath.

He knew how strong a high-level beast was, one high-level beast was enough to destroy a village.

Julius's face immediately went pale and he spontaneously backed away in a sitting state, “Damn you! Get moving!” Julius cursed with his back covered in sweat.

“Aarrrgggg!”

The two red-eyed wolves groaned, bared their long fangs, and slowly stepped toward Julius. Julius was scared to death, he closed his eyes and managed to get up, turn around and try to escape.

“You trash!” The mysterious woman's voice echoes in Julius' ears, but he doesn't even care, for him, his life is the top priority.

“Whoosh!”

Julius looked up with his mouth agape, one of the red-eyed wolves jumped over his head and landed right in front of him.

"Ah, I'm done." Julius was nearly mad, he seemed to see death in front of him and was sure that place would be his grave.

Currently, two high-level beasts were surrounding him from the front and back, he couldn't possibly run away, the speed of the two beasts had far surpassed him.

At the top of the 10-meter tall tower, a beautiful girl in black robes, red eyes, and long red hair down to her back, sat leisurely watching the performance below.

"This must be a mistake, how could that weak creature be the inheritor of one of the legendary ancient spirits!" The beautiful red-haired girl sneered.
