Lucas breaks from inside.

He could bear to see his Ciara sad.

He knew the problem the family were definitely facing right now should be definitely related to Daolin's genius plan.

Yet still, Lucas had only a clue that Mr. Brin was forced or felt forced on Ciara.

So that meant that Mr. Brin was definitely comfortable with their evil plans.

Lucas could see it as a reason why Mr. Brin must have attempted to kill Ciara.

It could have been his means of Escape.

The rest of the family members left the scene, whilst Ciaras parents approached a sad Ciara.

"I thought you were okay with getting married to Mr. Brin... Why did you have to challenge your grandmother over a freedom that you don't need?" Ciaras father asked Ciara furiously.

"Hunny, calm down... She is still a child." Her mother seemed to have driven Ciara's father.

"Look into my eyes!" Her mother commands her and Ciara finally gathers the courage too.

"You are a major shareholder in the family business and your grandfather chose you for a reason so you better stop disappointing me!" Her mother yells at her.

"You should be helping your future husband, instead of coming all out to disgrace your father and I before the entire family, I am proud of you!" Her annoyed mother fires at Ciara.

"Mr. Sermon, I apologise for my daughter's misbehaviour, I can tell she doesn't really understand the degree at which the government can ruin the family business, and for you Mr. Brin... You are an innocent man and I don't doubt your capabilities, I pray you succeed." Ciaras mother added.

"I hope he doesn't." Ciara replies to her mother.

"What did you say?" She asked back.

"I said I hope he..." Ciara was about completing her statement before she got it.

"He will succeed!" Ciaras mother fires Ciara a hot slap, but she gets lucky.

"Pow!" Lucas shakes her mother's hand rather.

"Ha! Lucky you." Her mother said before she walked away from Ciara, who stood scared.

She stares at Lucas who saves her whilst Mr. Sermon stares back at Lucas.

"You look familiar, what is your name?" Mr. Sermon asked as he looked at him.

"He's called Lucas, my personal guard." Ciara said rather for Lucas who could not speak as he was full of so much hatred towards Sermon, nor did he want to blow his cover.

"Ah! It seems that the name Lucas seems to follow me literally everywhere I go... They never cease to never exist no matter what I do, funny." An amused Sermon who recalled the Lucas he had wickedly killed long before now smiled.

"What's funny?" Lucas asked him.

"Nothing to worry about... You reminded me of some poor good for nothing weak peasant I dealt with, but you're nothing like him... Brin!" Mr. Sermon said as he walked off the place, together with his brother Brin following him.

Lucas grows upset at his demeanour and wants to retaliate the hate but Ciara holds him back.

He turns to look at Ciara.

Watching his calm queen hug him.

"My mum has anger issues, thanks for saving me from such an unnecessary slap." Ciara said holding Lucas who enjoyed her embrace.

Lucas looks around the parlour to see that no one was there except him so he uses his powers to intercept the Daolin's talking.

He follows the trail till he reaches them.

The two brother's were in the garden talking about their plans to ruin the Moran's.

"Madam Elina has just given out the best opportunity to ensure that she doesn't have any power to stop our father again... The bitch thinks we don't know she hates our father." Mr. Sermon Daolin tells him brother.

"But must I marry Ciara... I mean you know that I am not interested in that." Brin replies.

"Can't you see what advantage you will get if you marry the stupid pretty girl?" Sermon said to his brother, annoyed at his earliest statement.

"The Moran's think they're wise, if we get an investor to do the deal, then you can have Madam Elina's Share in the company... that's our first approach." Sermon said.

"Secondly, since the deal entails you can have Ciara, then you can marry Ciara, who is the company's heir and control how the company runs so daddy can win the elections." An evil excited Sermon says to his brother.

"What if she doesn't want to marry me?" Mr Brin innocently asked his elder brother.

"Then after you get Madam Shares, she will get kidnapped and forced to sign her shares to you, we must do anything to ensure we break their family, do you understand?" Sermon replies to him emotionless before he laughs seeing that his younger brother Brin was shocked.

"Damn, what if we don't have an Investor? I mean the project is huge." Brin asked.

"Ronald incorporation is daddy's biggest connection, they will do the project like it was nothing, they are crazily wealthy, so you can prepare and head there tomorrow." Mr. Sermon urges his brother and Brin Gasps.

"Brother, aren't you tired of Dads evil plan, don't you think he's ruining our lives?" Brin asked.

"Enough of such nonsense! If Dad becomes this state's Governor, your future and I will be secured so you better Don't mess it up!" Mr. Sermon fires at his brother about leaving, causing Lucas to quickly escape the arena.

Lucas had finally gotten to know their evil agenda and the evil plans they had on ground to do to the Moran innocent family, who appreciated them.

Lucas soon enters his room worried.

His heart was pacing with fright.

He knew he has to stop them.

Ciara Indeed needed his Protection.
