Chapter 7( The show)

"Any Mr idea Rob"the middle aged man standing on the podium asked fixing his gaze on him. Rob was startled,he was lost in his thought."sir please can you repeat the question" he stammered trying to maintain his cool. The class laughed as everyone fixed their gaze on him. "Are you with us Mr Rob"the lecturer asked feigning a smile. "Yeah,I am okay sir"Rob replied rubbing his head with his hand."Ok then Mr Man have your sit"The man ordered taking his gaze off him. Few minutes after the class continued the school bell ranged bringing the class to an end.

Rob immediately packed his stuffs and left for the library. It was his daily routine to head to the library immediately after the day class. It was his one and only class that day. Rob was a student of the highly rated Lontor University,it is one of the best Universities in the country. He was in his penultimate year in the department of business management.

Rob hopped into his black Rolls-Royce sweeptail, though his car was no ordinary car it wasn't really a very big deal in Lontor University as many individuals also drives very expensive cars. He droved close to the library garage and packed his car. He was in high spirit after listening to "In da club" by 50 cent. He popped out of his car joyfully mimicking Michael Jackson signature move as he proceeded to the library entrance. Unknowingly he mistakenly dashed on a young chubby looking lady and her Samsung Galaxy ultra felled off and instantly crashed. It was an expensive phone but still she could order ten of it with a phone call.

She immediately attacked Rob verbally like someone who was bitten by a mad dog."Hey you dimwit, are you blind or what"she yelled trying to get hold of Rob's casual wear and in the process tore his lacklustre polo. Rob was a simple man by fashion hence one would easily presume him to be a nobody. His occasional appearances with his cars was the only thing that made him look like he was from a wealthy home. The truth was that very few people could guess that he was a rich student. He in every situation tries to identify as a simple man.

The lady Miriam was a rich spoilt kid. She is the only daughter of his father hence was very pampered. She was an arrogant and disrespectful lady mainly due to his father factor, His father,Hugo Sanchez is the CEO and co-owner of Dove Jewelry Company.

The company is an esteemed company whose reputation spans the boundaries of Freedonia. The co-owner of the Dove company were the Maniks. At the time,years back,Hugo Sanchez was a nobody and were among those who were laid out of work by the government. He was very helpless,left alone to take care of his three children.

Hugo was a clever and visionary man,he had a business plan but was without any capital. After his many applications for loan were turned down by loan giving institutions he decided to seek for financial assistance from Manik Conglomerate. His plans and visions impressed the Maniks so they offered him capital but with the condition that they will be partners and be Co-owners. He agreed and was made the CEO, that was how he became wealthy and influential.

Miriam was very oblivious of who she was toying with. This altercation attracted individuals who entertained themselves with the scene. Rob was dumbfounded but at same time relaxed trying to apologise to the lady. Just then,she called her father,to her it was a perfect time to showcase her power. Luckily for her,her father was nearby the University.

"I will show you who i am"she threatened while stamping her feet repeatedly on the ground. Rob was still held on his already torn shirt my Miriam to prevent him from escaping. Just then her father arrived with two men in his black painted Lamborghini. He immediately approached them and immediately he slapped Rob without proper enquiry of what could be the problem. Rob wasn't really surprised, he expected it, like father like daughter, but he was ready to teach them lesson but in his own way. He knew that Hugo's men were no match for him in close combat but he optioned against it using violence.

Rob had received complains about how Hugo Sanchez abuses his power and authority but never actually took it serious but now he was a victim and so he wanted to make him pay and suffer dearly. He was meant to be swift and ruthless but same time he wanted to approach in a shrewd way,he wanted to crush him but in a way that he will not rise up again.

Hugo have never been oportuned to meet Rob,the heir to Manik empire in person before now. Rob had always been represented by his delegates in any meeting that required the presence of Maniks.

Hugo humiliated and embarrassed Rob in front of the public. He made sure that her daughter was ok with the way he handled the matter.

Rob after being disgraced picked his phone and called his secretary telling them to buy up the whole shares that Hugo Sanchez have in the

company. She did as she was told and in twenty minutes Hugo Sanchez have lost his share of the company.

As Hugo drove with her daughter,he saw an alert message of a huge amount of money with no description of the sender. He was very perplexed on how such amount was sent to him, immediately his phone ranged jostling him,He picked it and was given the most devastating news in his life."This can't be"he lamented while panicking.Her daughter was very surprised on the drama that was unfolding before her.

He called his personal secretary to ascertain how genuine the information he just received was. To his dismay it was all true,he was given a week to vacate the company and also to return any property of the company in his possession. He was told that the Maniks hierarchy wanted him out. He already knew that he was not even a match for the Manik and also no one can save him at this situation. He at that moment pondered on while such unpleasant thing was happening to him.

He finally the mustered courage and called the Maniks but this time the secretary directed the call to Rob who told him that he was the boy he unjustly humiliated few minutes ago. It was all like a movie and wished that it will back forwarded so that he could retrace his actions but it was already very late.
