Third Person's POV
"So now that you're successfully introduced to the ability system, we will now be proceeding to the universes, and worlds, you will be transported to and carry out your duties, you can call it missions or objectives, or whichever you prefer.
This system is called the universe map (another window opens and showed many galaxies), and world map (the window zoomed to highlight a galaxy then zoomed out), two components in one application, the universe map shows you the map to the universe, and it's the same as gazing at the stars,
but you will notice blinking lights when you are to be sent out on a mission (the map zoomed in on a galaxy with a blinking light), it could be one, two or more blinking lights, you will be given information of the world you will be entering such as:
Economy, social life, development, races, weather, and etc. (the window zoomed in on a planet opening another panel to show the information it contained), once you've picked a world to explore, you will be asked to prepare and be transported there within 30 seconds,
So before you decide to enter a new world, I suggest you prepare things you will need for that specific world." Ken listens attentively, knowing he'll have information overload again if he doesn't analyze the information slowly.
"OK, that seems reasonable, is there anything else I'm missing." looking at the settings and outputs of the window he sees, he swiped for more contents.
"Well, oh, this place will always be the starting point of your mission/s, I know this is all white because this place is located between space and time, life and death, light and dark,
Basically it's called or can be called the void, but there are other things here than the void itself, light is also here, that's why the place is all white, and you can see me as an orb of white." explained the ball of white.
‘I was wondering when he would give me that information, my question has been answered.’ nodded Ken.
"Can this place be or get destroyed? Or not?" he asks curious of whatever may happen to this place.
"Nope, because it's a plane of existence that will never be wiped out of this universe, you could say it's an abstract concept." said the ball.
‘oh, wait is that a pun? or I just don't get it.’
"I don't get it, you say plane of existence, and then abstract? What does it mean?" he asks thinking that it's better educated than not, right?
“It’s a long story, do you want to hear it?” he nods.
“Are you sure?” he nods again, eagerly.
“I’m sure.” The ball shook, whether it be of understanding or not, Ken doesn’t know.
"Then let me explain,” said the ball “This place once used to be a being, a part of the universe and very visible like you and me, and on worlds it can be seen as a massive being,
But by learning the teachings of the worlds it traveled, it learned how to exist with its current/native residents.
It accumulated experience of its past travels from many different worlds, and learned that there are so many different cultures and teachings each world can offer, it was happy for a moment, but it did not last long,
On one of his travels to other new worlds he came across a scene, in front of him were thousands or not millions of floating/flying things that seems to about to collide one another, it was mesmerizing in its sight, but it got shocked when it saw and heard explosion at it's right,
It already knew the meaning of an explosion, so it knew that something bad happened, and it didn't like that, it didn't want that.
It rushed to arrive at where the explosion erupted but was halted by another explosion, it looked around and another erupted, and another, and another, and another, and another, it could not take what was happening to its surrounding,
Conflict started to build up in its system, and in a loud cry, burst a very big explosion that destroyed a whole galaxy. It looked at the work it had done and was horrified of the outcome.
It flew away somewhere within this vast universe to contemplate what it had done, darkness enveloped its vision, so it closed its eyes and cried in silent.
For a millennium it stayed dormant in its state of sadness, but when it finally opened its eyes it saw light, light all around it, it was conflicted to do anything, remembering clearly the catastrophe it had caused.
On the corner of its eyes, something caught it's attention, even in such a far distance, it could see a creature, happily skipping with other creatures, it saw happiness, and finally it decided to explore that world that it saw,
It learned of love, faith, hope, compassion, gratitude, and all things that are good, but that world also offered him to learn the opposite of good, it learned of evil, torment, suffering, obsession, mischief and all things that are bad.
That world allowed it to learn of balance between the two, that both components are as important as the smallest speck of dust in the universe, that both, are a part of everyone, and everything.
It was enlightened, and felt fulfilled, that it get to understand a major aspect of the universe, it vowed to keep the lessons it had accumulated for many years, and created this plane of existence, with its all.
It hid this out of plane sight, and cannot be discovered by any means, be it power, time, space, eyesight, or understanding, and it left me here to look out for this plane, and choose anyone from the vast universe to carry out its belief and virtues, and I chose you."
Ken nodded of course for understanding the part that this place was made by some other worldly being that it holds dear, but founds himself dumbfounded the next.
"Why?" he asks.
"Because you embody that virtue it cherished so much." dumbstruck from its sudden confession, Ken could not form a proper sentence.
"Uh... um.. Thanks, I guess." scratching the back of his neck, feeling sheepish.
"Now that you know why you're here, and judging from your reaction, I really did pick the right one." the sudden change of formalities peeked Ken’s interest, he gazed at the orb of white in awe and wonder.
"I will be at your command Ken, the chosen of this plane." a surge of happiness welled inside his chest, feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Guess this is what they call fulfillment of the heart.
"Okay so, now back to the mission at hand, let's see what will be the first world you will be going to, are you excited?" the ball didn’t really need to mention it since excitement was clear on Ken’s face.
"YES!" he says with pride and assurance of his statement.
"Good, see that blinking light at the east side of the universe or this galaxy rather (the galaxy at the left side of the map zoomed in), that will be the first world you will be entering,
The world of Terres, of the Capri Galaxy (the world of Terres was zoomed in by the window), this world is the same as your world, Earth of the Milky Way Galaxy,
Humans also live here, and other creatures too, magical creatures, what you call myth in your world, are locals/native in this world." that caught Ken’s attention.
‘Wait what?! OH My Gosh! Oh My Gosh!!!’ spurring excited gleams inside his head.
"Does it mean I get to see dragons?!" he asks, hands clasp together, and eyes sparkling with joy and shock. Oh how I've longed to see and marvel those gorgeous beasts, he thought, daydreaming about both western and Chinese dragons.
"If you're referring to those flying reptiles that blow fire from their mouths, then yes, you get to see them, but on this planet, every creature is tweaked a bit slightly, they have more different features according to their race,
I think I don't need to explain this more to you, because you get to explore and study those creatures and maybe someday, get them to be as your pet." explained the ball.
‘Oh that's so cool!!!!’ Ken exclaimed in his own thoughts almost doing a fist pump, but controlled himself so as not to appear too eager.
"Okay, so what else do I need to know about this world?" he asks.
‘Do I still get to see people like me? or there are many others that are different, wait that came out wrong, SPECIAL, yeah that's the word.’
"There are different people in this world, but 'every' person is special, and yes there are those that really stand out from the rest, but they are equal individuals." came the ball’s reply.
‘I think I got corrected somehow, oh I know…’
"Okay, sorry if I thought that there are those that are totally different from others." Ken apologizes with a sheepish smile on his face.
"*chuckles* It's good that you are careful with what you state or think about and are considerable of other's feelings." A slight chuckle could be discerned from the voice of the ball but then again Ken got himself distracted.
‘It's what I am proud of. I'm talking to myself (grumbles internally.).’
"So where will I be transported too?" he ask ready to get down to business, and discarding his previous demeanor.
"You will start your journey at the Kingdom of Ithel, a Human Kingdom ruled by a just and humble King named, King Frederick with his wife Queen Althea Celena." The window showed Ken pictures of the Kingdom and the King and Queen.
-------
Third Person's POV‘Wow they are so beautiful and handsome on the pictures, bet they're even more handsome and beautiful in person.’ Ken admiring the features of the two people, never minding the picture of the Kingdom."So what will be my main mission?" he asks thinking that this kingdom looks to be in good hands."On Recent events, the couple had a baby, it was a baby boy, a-, the information’s quite long, do you want me to continue?” Ken tilts his head slightly.“Yes please.” he says with a smile.“Okay, the kingdom rejoiced, for the heir to the throne has been born, they prepared a banquet for everyone to enjoy, but one person caused a commotion and took the baby. The King and his men tried to save the child but the kidnapper was fast and agile on its feet, the kidnapper was covered in black clothing and wore leather shoes, it had its face covered and wore a hood to further conce
Third Person's POVKen finding himself in the body of a baby, panicked him, flinging words after words complaining to the white ball about his situation, but being a baby as he is now, baby gibberish just went out of his small, cute mouth, cries echoing inside the room and the hut alerting the parents, Ken's parents. The couple hurriedly went to the room where their baby is nestled, ignoring their task moments ago, they look at the scene before them, and their worried expressions eased as they stare lovingly at their crying/wailing son at the crib, taking a slight glance at each other. The mother approached slowly at the crib, and once coming to view with her child, she slowly reached out with her arms to hold and cradle the baby to her chest protectively."My dear sweet child, are you afraid? Don't worry, mommy's here now for you" she rocked the baby side to side effectively soothing her child, and soon the baby's cries turned to s
Third Person's POV*The Next Day*Ken woke up to the rays of the sun, he looked to his left and noticed that his parents are still sleeping at their own bed, he looked at his right and found that the ball of white was still where he was, just beside him,Not really beside him beside him, just there probably an arm’s length distance, a baby's arm length distance.'What are you staring at?' effectively catching Ken of guard, he finds it hard to find his words.'I uhh... I'm... Uh... good morning! I was just wondering whether you are awake or not.' that little startle subsiding down as Ken’s heart calmed.'Good morning to you too Ken, as for your question, I have been awake for a long time, because I do not take a rest.' replied the ball.'Why is that so?' Ken asks curiously.'That's because I do not have a body that gets tired, as you can see, I am a ball of white.' Ken nodded a
Third Person’s POV(1 and 6 months yrs. old)'But why am I be able to know who the heroes and heroines are of this story? did I do some kind of tampering on the settings of this story? Or maybe I accidentally pressed 'reveal' on the create section? What am I even thinking, of course I haven't done any of those, *sigh* I could really need some help right now.’'*chuckles* Hearing your obnoxious thoughts running one after another is really entertaining, you’re wondering you say? Then I'll answer your question, although I really want to be a bit mysterious, but I don't think that will ever be helpful, seeing as you tend to overthink things, and might end up taking actions for the worst,Okay, enough ranting, you are able to determine the heroes and heroines through a faint glow of light, to indicate that the person you are in front with is the person you will be helping in the future, it could be by fulfilling a prophec
Third Person's POV ( 3 and 8 months yrs. old)"Wind Blade!" Ken watched as his father practiced his magic along with his mother.'Hey White! How does magic exist in this world?' curious for until now he still can’t believe that there’s magic, nope wait scratch that, more like he’s not willing to believe that there’s magic.'It’s another long story.’ said White.‘I don’t mind.’ but seeing as this is his first world, getting to accept it’s abnormalities would be the first step of accomplishing his mission, so might as well start now.‘Okay (in a singsong voice), to answer your question Ken, magic on this place originated from the very start of the formation of this planet, but because this planet had accumulated massive amounts of magic,From what I had witnessed, this planet absorbed about 9,000 both white dwarf and big stars, even on its phase of supernova or black hole wasn't even spared upon its making, making the space surrounding it look completely empty for it devoured these thou
Third Person's POV (4 yr.s old)"Wil! Let’s go! Papa's going to teach us now how to use magic! Oops wait, correction! More magic!" shouted Ken from outside Wilbert’s house at 5 A.M., the light rays of the sun visible over the blue sky, along with the soft caress of the morning chill.Thinking back to the time he showed his and Wilbert's parents how he could use teleportation magic, and in quick succession too, the adults were stunned, surprise was written all over their face at that time, Ken took note of his father’s surprised face. Those wide eyes were both cute and funny at the same time.Once the shock was over, Alfred decided right on the spot that his son was to be taught magic, but of course having a loving, caring and worrying mother, Lyn interjected that her son was still too young to learn magic, the both of them getting into an argument of which Lorna, and Erick interjected helplessly.Seriously, these two love birds are so head strong that it’s hard to stop them.Thankfull
Third Person's POV (4 yr.s old)"Yes, yes it is Ken." Ken nodded in understanding."How about you go try it first Ken?" Ken looked up to his father in shock, accompanied by fear and confusion, but his eagerness to learn about how to use and wield magic, made him agree and decided to do it first."Okay so now all you have to do is to picture out how your flame would be like, basically fire is a free element, and it sways to whichever direction the wind blows."Ken held out his hand and focused on the mental picture of creating a flame, soon a small spark of flame formed atop his hand, he rejoiced and smiled to himself that he was able to invoke/ conjure fire on the first try, but true to his nature of being curious, he wondered and asked to himself 'What would happen if i try to make it bigger?'. *Wind rustles**The ball of fire expands slowly*In just a few moments, his questions were answered, he was able to make a fireball three times the size of a regular basketball.Alfred and Wi
Third Person's POV (4 yrs. old)From the corner of his eye, Ken noticed a flickering of light from the direction the three are approaching, and upon close inspection, the light radiated brighter the closer Ken got.It was coming off… from the girl.‘Woah, is this? Is she? Another main character?’ staring at the girl, the light gradually dimming once he’s eyes adjusted to its shine.‘Yes, yes she is’ came White’s reply.‘White!... Wait where is he?’ Ken’s glanced at his surroundings to find his companion.‘Hellooo, Above you.’ Ken followed the voice and sure enough White was there floating above him.‘Good Morning.’ said Ken, to which the other reciprocated the greeting. ‘Where were you this morning?’ he asked, White floating to Ken’s eye level so he wouldn’t be spraining his head any further, plus he would just look weird if he continued.‘Hm? Haven’t you noticed? I was just right above your head.’ replied White.‘Oh, hehe.’ Ken scratched his nose sheepishly. That was a bit embarrassi
