Chapter 137 Being Rational

Reginaldo pulled out a chair to sit next to an enraged Aline. She realized that she was shamefully used as an instrument of revenge in a plot that she was totally unaware of.

She continues to complain, "How dare Eduardo use me like that? I didn't know any of that!"

Reginaldo smiles when he sees that Aline had no intention of making a scene at the party, "Don't worry, Aline. You can demand right of reply in the tabloids."

Aline wiggles, "I don't want to get involved in this. I hope that another celebrity commits a bigger absurdity than mine, so people forget about me."

Reginaldo kindly asks, "Are you sure?"

"Yeah." Aline nods ruefully, "Besides, I don't want to acknowledge that you're married."

Reginaldo feels his heart aching. Aline spoke in such a honeyed tone that he had to do his best not to bang her right now.

Aline lies back down, "Reggie, thanks for visiting and for being interested in me. Thank your friend Anestor for saving me. And don't worry, I'll take care of the writer."
