Antonio thinks that Mr. Rosendo is doing emotional blackmail by announcing his resignation. After getting up from the floor, he sits down properly in the chair and behaves as if he hadn't just fallen vexingly.

"You're not serious." He mockingly suggests, "You're not telling me you're going to throw your job away over a mere porter."

"If Reginaldo Silva is a mere porter, why do you fear him?" Mr. Rosendo asks boldly.

Antonio breaks the cocky grin, "Who's afraid of that asshole? I don't have a problem with him!"

Mr. Rosendo sighs, "Mr. Ferreira, I believe you are like this because Reginaldo and your daughter are more than friends. As you pointed out, she was never involved in the hotel's affairs."

Antonio grits his teeth, "I won't allow such nonsense."

"Then your situation will get worse." Mr. Rosendo retorts, "Firing Reginaldo just because you don't want him around your daughter doesn't qualify as 'just cause'. If Reginaldo files a lawsuit against the hotel in the Labor Court, he'll wi
