Marianne heads to the restaurant and finds Denise having lunch alone. Perfect opportunity to talk about what she had asked.

She approaches the table and greets her, “Hello, Denise! How's lunch?”

“Lunch is delicious, Mrs. Ferreira.” Denise smiles kindly, “This filet steak is juicy.”

“I guess you can call me Marianne.” She pulls out a chair and sits down.

“Well, since we're going to be friends...” Denise nods, “What did you come to say?”

“I came to talk a little more about Carla Fortunato. I took advantage of the moment to call Mr. Correia and apologize for the inconvenience. My husband has every dumb idea...”

Denise nods, worried. One more reason for her to get away from Eduardo who is blindly following this senile gentleman, “Keep talking.”

“Mr. Correia was an excellent gentleman, he noticed that I was upset and accepted my apologies.” Marianne continues, “I even mentioned his father. The poor guy really loves his dad and is rooting for his recovery.”

“That's great.” Denise is more in
