Chapter 407 Who Broke the Bad News

At the private clinic, Bartolomeo gets up and checks Natalia’s things that are kept in a chest of drawers.

Sylvia calmly talks to Natalia, “I think you better sleep now, daughter.”

“Yes, mom. It was a lot of bad news.” Natalia smiles.

“Don't worry, your marriage to Matias is assured. If you still love him and don't blame him for what happened, then everything will be resolved.”

“Thanks, Mom.” Natalia closes her eyes and tries to sleep.

Bartolomeo seemed to be standing still, staring aimlessly at the chest of drawers. But when he glances over and sees that his daughter is resting, he slowly pulls out one of the drawers.

He finds her cell phone.

Sylvia strokes her daughter's hair and stays by her side. Bartolomeo seizes the moment and puts her cell phone in his pocket.

He goes out of the room, catching his wife's attention.
