Chapter 53 Nobody's Worried

George is startled when Reginaldo is furious that no one can answer satisfactorily about Aline's presence.

"I hope that tomorrow everything can go back to normal." He explains with a frown, "Aline is a good girl and needs direction in life. The last time I saw her, she was having a very strange conversation, belittling herself. If I'm not careful, she's gonna decide to drown herself on the beach."

"How awful, Reggie." George breaks his smile, "Tomorrow I'll be there early to check."

"That's great." Reginaldo's cell phone rings and he takes it out of his dress pants pocket. He sees it's Laura and decides to answer it with a sour face, "Hello?"

"Reggie, I know you hate my dad." Laura speaks in a stilted, artificial tone, "But now he needs your support."

"What happened?"

"He had a heart attack and is at the neighborhood medical center."
