Chapter 61 Aged But Hot

The weekend passed and with it, Antonio Ferreira's recovery. On Monday, the doctor who had seen him had declared the good news.

"Mr. Ferreira, you will be discharged today."

"God be praised!" Antonio exclaims, making Marianne roll her eyes. From the way Antonio leads his life, it doesn't seem like he believes in God.

"Okay, I'll fill out the necessary paperwork so I can release you." The doctor smiles, "Just follow the recommendations: no stress, delegate the work to your kids, avoid salt and trans fat that your body will thank you for."

"Thank you, Doctor, for saving my life." Antonio is almost crying.

"From now on, it's up to you." The doctor leaves.

Marianne leans back in bed and whispers after the doctor leaves, "Now when we get home you can tell me what really happened!"

Antonio pretends to be dumb, "Are you blind, woman? I had a cardiac arrest and spent days in the medical clinic. By the way, yesterday you didn't come to see your convalescent husband, where were you?"
